How are you pasting GIFs in your posts, none of the GIFs I try to post ever work
I can only do it via tapatalk (a forum app for android). I upload the GIF to my phone, then when I'm composing a post, press the picture icon, select the GIF from my photos, and then send it into my post.

That's probably as clear as mud, but it's the best explanation I can give.

Sure he did. For a team that went 16-0 the previous year and coached by one of the best coaches ever with one of the best rosters in the league. Remind us what year that was again though.

Who cares if he "knows the game" The fact is he couldn't PLAY the game. He was fucking horrible dude.

Actually Weeden wasn't THAT bad. Hindsight is 20/20, but they should have just stuck with him last year instead of switching to rag arm Cassel and while the season still would have been bad, it wouldn't have been a catastrophe (of course the downside to that is this years draft wouldn't have played out the way it did, so clearly the 4-12 was worth it)

I've never said he was great. All I said was you cant blame someone for all the bad stuff and then give zero credit when good stuff happens.

The question last year was entirely about game adjustments and coaching. Dallas was within one touchdown drive of winning in 7 games last year. Romo had been the author and definer of the offense in previous years which Linehan said was based entirely on Romo under Linehans "suggestions". The team somehow was in the games and just needed some actual manipulation and strategy to pull off a win (something that we saw in every game this year) but Garrett refused to allow any flavor greater than vanilla during the games and the QBs who were all picked by Garrett based on their previous knowledge of Garrett's system so he didn't have to coach them, were largely hung out to dry during passing downs. Look, Garrett's passing system is so bad for the team that in 2014 where Romo had the ultimate protection of DeMarco Murrays 1800 yards rushing and 50+ yards receiving, which should have afforded him gobs of time to throw from play action, still got him sacked 30 times. In his worst year, Romo was sacked 36 yimes. If you watched the times this year where Dak gets a lot of pressure and sacked, it's when it's an obvious passing down and the defense has the advantage. Dak was sacked most on shotgun plays (23) in which Dallas had a huddle. Obvious pass plays that also gave the defense time to matchup. Garrett's delusion is that his WRs cause matchup problems. It's bogus. Elements of surprise with formations or play action or motion allows the predictable plays to be unpredictable. He is unwaveringly convinced that Dunbar is a mismatch.

As the NFL Network morning show said last summer "How Jason Garrett is still keeping his job is beyond me".

Anyone watching the replay of the playoff game in 14' on NFL Network?

Seems like we look like a better team this year but Rogers is playing and isn't going to be gimping around with a calf injury. Damn Rogers has an arm, he can whip that ball around on a rope plus he's a slippery MFer.

Zeke looks noticeably better than Demarco too

Thats easy to explain. The guy that decides to keep him is the same guy that hired Switzer, Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, and Wade Phillips.

Re: first paragraph...

Cassell also won 11 games and went to the pro bowl as the starting QB in Kansas City

do you notice a difference in this years team vs that one?

Tony looks so small and frail compared to Dak

Yes there is a difference but Witten looks just as slow back then as he does now. But making catches.

Wade wasn't necessarily a bad hire. It would have been interesting if he could have brought in his own OC, instead of being saddled with one whose ambition outstripped his abilities, and eventually said OC would go on to sandbag Wade.

Notable differences from 14 I've noticed:

Bill Callahan coaching on the sidelines

Mincey and Selvie on the defense

Clutts at fullback (scored a TD)

Parnell at Right tackle

Romo at QB

Demarco at RB

Romo getting hit low a lot (& no flags--shout out to Dbair), refs better get that shit under control Sunday

Witten loves to run his routes 1 yard or 2 short of the first down, which makes me think the defense is letting him do this knowing he cant get any YAC.

Last 2 plays on offense for Dallas of the first half were painful:

*3rd and 1 (because Witten cant get YAC), 40 secs left, 27 yard line. Tony "kill-kills" the play planned to be run then bobbles the snap but manages to pick the ball up and heave up a bomb, incomplete.

*FG team comes out, false start, Bailey misses FG, maybe that got lucky with the penalty.

*Back em up 5 yards for a 50 yard FG. Nope, Bailey misses again.

PUKE.

Rogers takes over at the 40 with 29 seconds left, drives it down to the 22 yard line in 5 plays, GB FG

14-10 at half instead of 17-7

Ugh..watching that Murray fumble makes me appreciate how Zeke uses both arms as he runs through traffic or about to be tackled.

Demarco had nothing in front of him to stop him from scoring if he doesn't fumble there, smh...that should have put them up 24-7

The weather and field are slowing down both teams in this game IMO. I think both offenses will be better in Jerry's mall.

They'll miss Nelson, but they didn't really have a TE in this game. Jared Cook has been pretty good for them this year, especially lately. Could be a factor Sunday.

Also, a big difference I see is while Romo played fine and wasn't why we lost, Dak can run and pick up yards in a bunch of these situations. I bet we see that zone read look a lot on Sunday, too.
