To this I'll only add, I'm not nearly as confident about our D personnel matching up with this GB offense or Atlanta's offense. Two very tall orders ahead for this defense.

The Vikings, Green Bay, the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers were ALL very tall orders until there weren't

Meaning each of those teams were supposed to be difficult opponents and were at the top of one category or another. Like GB being number one vs the run until we ran up 196 yards on them. The Vikings were supposed to have one of the best defenses, so were the Ravens.

We have met and exceeded each "challenge" all season long

Will GB be an easy win? Hell no! But I wouldn't count this Cowboy team out before the game even starts. They have proven all year that they will find a way to win when it matters most. And they have done it against all odds

Why do the whiny asses at CZ get so upset when they think the media is "disrespecting" Dallas?

Who honestly cares what those blowhards think? It has no impact on how a game is played or an outcome.

Read my post again. I didn't refer to the Dallas offense at all. It's the Defense that concerns me, against a hot packers offense and then if we get by that, very likely a even more dangerous Atlanta offensive team.

There's a big difference between just blind religious faith, and realistic views.

I am guessing the median IQ over there is somewhere well below triple digits.

:lol

I dont man, I was thinking the same thing. It blows my mind.

The only thing that makes sense is that these posts are made by kids or people that are really young and naive

It would be hilarious to find out who we're actually talking to on forums. For all we know, we could be arguing our asses off with a 10 year old girl, come to think of it, that would explain a lot when it comes to the Dooms of the interwebs

Rodgers is going to get the ball out regardless. His 6+ second throws are usually complete. Can we break up these passes? That's all. We are 26th passing defense or something like that? That's why I'll lose sleep.

It's been reported that since week 13, the Cowboys have led the league in sacks. Imagine that. Pass rush been absent nearly all seaosn, but the final three weeks it emerges. I guess if it has to emerge, now would be a good time.

For the season we have outscored our opponents 422-306 (116 points) or 26-19 on average for the season

We outscored the Packers by two TD's last time we met

Nelson is out with two fractured ribs and we are getting most of our D back from injury

It may well come down to a shootout
I like our chances
I'm not worried

Thats all nice to sell newspapers and everything but the reality is the Giants were never winning that game. They could have spent that time in church and it was never gonna happen.

It's just Tony Romo in Cabo all over again. That's all

Giants’ Justin Pugh: Cowboys lucky Big Blue lost to Packers

BY EBENEZER SAMUEL
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Monday, January 9, 2017, 4:56 PM

Justin Pugh says the Cowboys should be thankful for the Giants' debacle in Green Bay.

The Dallas Cowboys' first challenge of this postseason will be to take on the NFL's hottest offense, facing the Green Bay Packers, who have won seven straight games and topped 30 points in five straight contests.

And according to Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh, the Cowboys should be thankful for that matchup.

"They're lucky that we didn't go beat the Green Bay Packers," Pugh said Monday. "If we were going to come to Dallas, we were going to beat them (the Cowboys) a third time."

Not that the Giants, who handed the Cowboys two of their three losses during the regular season, ever got that chance, because of Sunday night’s debacle at Lambeau Field in the NFC wild-card game.

And while Pugh fully believes his Giants could have beaten the Cowboys one more time, he said after his brief trash-talk that he was in no position to trash-talk at all.

"I actually can't really say that because we didn't take care of our business," he added. "I hope the Packers beat them."

By most accounts he was very unprofessional when he was here. There was the game against the Seahawks where he spent most of the time laughing and joking with his ex-teammates. I also remember reading something about him continually bringing his little brother into the locker room, much to the annoyance of the coaches and players. Don't know if that is true or not.

Maybe the penny has finally dropped and he has realized that he is running out of chances.

I'm. It worried about Christine Michael. The Packers have been hurting for a true RB and he's had a couple nice runs but there is a reason they are still starting a WR at RB instead of Michael. Hell he's been on the team for about what, 5 weeks or so? It's not like he doesn't know their offense at all. Michael will find a way to fuck up and get taken off the field.

Apparently he's not trustworthy as a pass-blocker.

The #Cowboys are at full strength: Jerry Jones says on @1053thefan that Morris Claiborne, Tyrone Crawford & DeMarcus Lawrence will play Sun.

Hopefully Lawrence's back is in good enough shape where he can actually make an impact, we really need him even if its just for 12-15 snaps on key passing downs.

There were some games where he literally couldn't bend any coming off the edge because of his back. The last game he played his back limited him to like 12 snaps and he couldn't hardly move.

but Adams, Cobb, Cook and Montgomery (if healthy) can still do a lot of damage.

JFC how lucky are us that we face the Packers without their RB1 and WR1.

And they've had 3 weeks of rest and their playing at home and all players are healthy and available
