The thing that is remarkable to me, if the Cowboys have a bad play, usually it is not Dak who screws up. Usually it is a WR mistake, someone other than Dak getting flagged, or a missed block.

Generally. But he did throw a couple of high balls to Brice and T-Will today.

Just saw a stat that Brady has 160 plus passes to start his rookie career without an INT in four games

If Dak gets 30 something more passes in the next game without an INT he passes Brady on the all time list

I don't care who you are, that's fucking impressive.

He is however tied with Wentz

So we need Wentz to throw an INT first. lol

More than likely we will beat one of the tough match ups. Maybe PIT or MIN. Eagles will also drop one surprising game. So it'll come to last two weeks of the season again.

I'm really not surprised they are falling off. I thought both were overrated and I also firmly believe Wentz is better than both of them by a good bit.

I do think we got lucky beyond belief with Prescott though.

Dak is very blue collar and seems to force Garrett out of the constant 2 minute offense and make the play calling more practical. They still have absolutely stupid leftover Garrett tendencies that:

1. Throw the ball on 3rd down and goal or for the first down with no play action, no spread formations, no motion, and with no reason to stop the clock and every reason to use your RB who is getting 7 yards per carry.

2. Passing to a player who does not catch passes above his head. Why do they continue to use TWilly in a role he can't handle? Go back and look at the sideline high point pass to him. He actually pulls his hands down because if the ball hits both his hands and he can't catch it, he is more accountable than if it's just a high pass. Hey I like the TD but a good CB would have stopped the body catch.

3. Reducing the complexity of the offense as the game goes on. The Beasley play at the end was very good but up until that point the play action, motion and deception just disappears.

4. The players are just unprepared to play smart. The CBs are grabbing, the tackling is terrible, Dunbar foot, Butlers taunt etc.

Claiborne will never have an easier INT in his life. Smith beat him and the pass was underthrown. Dallas sideline mugs him like he made an athletic play.

Prior to this season there's no question he's been a mega disappointment, but he does deserve some credit for what he has done this year. His coverage has been better but his tackling is what appears to be considerably improved.

He's had a quality season so far. Not a probowler or anything, but he not a problem (so far) in the secondary either.

Do we start trade talks for Romo?
I know you're being facetious. But the fact is, nobody wants to touch that contract given his age and physical condition. We're stuck with him, likely as 10 million of dead money over two seasons after he retires.

Yep

But even if by some miracle some desperate team offered a fortune for him though, Johnny Walker GM would do the franchise a disservice (al the last two decades) by turning it down.

That's why wideouts just run right by his stupid ass.

Could end up happening next few weeks, but so far this year his coverage has been pretty solid.

On the int everyone wants to say "he got beat deep!!!!" but he was supposed to have safety help inside again, and it was late getting there (Byron Jones this time I think). I don't see every team play but when I do watch these games it seems our safety double help is way late more than most teams. Jones has speed and range so that's odd. Church has no range and no speed so I can understand when he doesn't get there.

As Aikman noted though, Gabbert may have saw Jones late and it may have had some impact on the throw being to the outside rather than more down the middle. he may have been worried that Jones could have made the play.

It has NOT been! Every game so far this year wideouts have run right by this stupid fuck. The fact that LUCK has been on his side this year more than ever does NOT equate to him playing any better! He's just been a lucky dumbfuck!

It as man on man coverage, not over/under. You're just making excuses for a moron. He got fucking smoked yet again but luck favored his worthless ass.
