This was the first game since 2014 where I didn't have that sense of impending doom from the opening kickoff

I actually felt like we were always in it and could always win the game

It didn't feel like last season where you knew the offense couldn't do shit, and the defense would give up the go ahead score at the end Of the game to lose it

Two lousy teams. One had to win.

Zeke is shitty.

Dak should keep the job because even if Romo plays at an mvp level, the team still sucks. Keep whatever health you have, Romo. Walk away.

Post of the year consideration right there!

because they have been reading the forums
It almost seems that way, donut? Today did everything pretty much, that we've been calling for. More zone running plays for Zeke instead of man-blocking, getting and KEEPING Dez in the mix, manufacturing QB pressure, and getting some turnovers.

When even old-ass and washed-up Vernon Davis beats you... it's a wrap.

I like Marinelli, but he has to go. It's not his fault, he's been given crap to work with. But... we all know he is the fall guy for this year.

When they talk about which coaches are on the hot seat... they NEVER have Garrett. They should have any assistant/coordinator of the Cowboys.

Cowboys do not hire coaches. They hire fall guys.

To be fair, Marinelli hasn't exactly had a lot of talent to work with.

I don't see it that way

I don't see Dez fired up
Or pushing and shoving after the play
I don't see the emotion
The yelling and screaming
The getting in his face

I see none of that shit he was doing with Norman last year

I see a mutual respect so far. Now that might change. But so far so good it seems
Credit to Dez here as well. There was a lot of jaw jacking going on, but Dez didn't get rattled and throw a tantrum. Maybe he's turning a corner there?
Dez still can't just shut his dicktrap and just trot back to the huddle after a play, he's just GOT to jaw jack. Just because he didn't appear demonstrative doesn't mean Norman didn't get in his head. He was shut out, vs Norman again and if the Skins coach hadn't been so stubborn about keeping Norman in one place, Dez gets shut out completely today. Norman has Dez's number.

Yep, and golly gee! They made some adjustments in game and disciplined a player for repeated mistakes. There was nothing galactically stupid on the offensive side of the ball other than the two fumbles, but whoever recovered that second fumble saved the game right there. Anyone remember who that was? It was play of the game in my opinion. He and Dak get my game ball today.

Those weren't stupid really, so much as a rookie learning first hand that this is the NFL where professional ball thieves lurk at all times. All rookies fumble a little bit until they learn that. If the fumbling continues, THENNNN we start questioning basic intelligence.

How about that crushing block by Swaim on that Witten catch and run?

Bye, Escobar.

Swaim has clearly made Escobar expendable. I doubt there would be any interest, but I would float him as trade bait to see if there were any takers.

Edit to state that it's Esco I field any trade offers for.

Dez did have 7 catches for over 100 yards. No TD's but that's still a pretty good game. I gave him a hard time before the game but he played well. Also, Norman did follow him around in the 2nd half.

Plus, Swain himself on his own touches, finishing runs with some bruising power on the tacklers.

Not to mention he seems to be one of Dak's favorite targets in practice. Decent performance in actual games and you are your QB's go to in practice.

Yep that's going to spell the end of Escobar or at the very least leap frog Swaim over Escobar
