I know that Jerry was a big factor in helping get the move back to LA to happen. Maybe the Rams will feel indebted to Jerry and make a favorable trade with Jerry that they may not make with another team

The rams owner is actually one of the richest owners in the league. His land holdings alone outstrip Jerry's total net worth. Plus he has tremendous stroke with the NFL on his own. He's also owner of several other pro sports teams. I doubt he needs Jerry's help for shit. Here's a quick read on his history, starting with helping the previous owner get the Rams move to St. Louis:

No mention of Jerry in any of this. Please let's stop giving that drunk buffoon credit for anything?

I'm sorry but you're wrong if you don't think Jerry has some pull in the NFL. Everything I've read and heard says Jerry was the main owner pushing for the Rams to move to LA. The NFL is a "good old boy" fraternity and Guys like Jerry and Bob Kraft, the Mara's, and the Rooney's run that fraternity.

Of course, nobody ever said that.

If Jerry provided lip service to the move, so the fuck what? Did he maybe influence some other owners' votes? Possibly. But if you read the information at the link provided you'll see the owners' approval was pretty much a given anyway.

No question I am minimizing Jones' role in the LA move, and the truth is I wouldn't give the stupid mother fucker credit for a successful toilet flush - but can we please knock off the gushing worship of the piece of shit?

Here's a half decent article chronicling Jerry's involvement
- proposing the teams share the new stadium - which might have helped get the votes but ain't happening at last report.

Damn. Now they're saying Jaylon Smith has nerve damage and will be out for 2016?

Horrible for him to happen in his final bowl game like that.

yep, really awful...sounds like he was a super good kid too in addition to being a tremendos player...went from being in the argument to be #1 overall pick to potentially being later rd pick or even a UDFA

When Jimmy traded Hershal to the Vikings for picks. It didn't seem like a win at the time but as we all know that was a huge win and allowed Jimmy to build "his" dynasty

That's probably the last trade I would say the Cowboys actually won

We fleeced the shit out of the Aints for Steve Walsh too

Jimmy also stole Tony Casillas, Charles Haley and Thomas Everett

Yea I doubt Donald gets thrown in that mix but wouldn't be surprised if they got desperate enough to offer their 1st and both their 2nds. That's something I'd consider. Then using the 2nds to go right back into the first round. Ending this draft with two number 1s could be pretty nice.

I'd definitely make the Rams over pay for a QB tho. It's gonna be tough walking away from Jack, Ramsey or Goff imo so they better pay for it.

To go from 15 to 4 is going to be incredibly expensive, especially if its for a move to take a QB.

I havent looked at the trade chart lately but I'd think for them to do that they'd have to give their 1, both twos, probably their first next yr and maybe another couple or three in middle to late round picks

The Redskins went from 6 to 2 a few years back with the Rams for RGIII. Cost them three firsts and a second.

if you dig into this a little you see all the speculation about nerve damage came from a doctor who saw a picture of the brace that Smith is wearing and said that the only reason for that brace is if he has a drop foot which means nerve damage. I actually checked up on that particular brace and it is not always used for that purpose. So I take this speculation like any other at this time of year- with a grain of salt the size of Mt Everest

Goff looks so good in the throwing drills. Fluid and smooth like it's easy for him.

He looked fine, but Wentz looked great too. Had one off throw but otherwise he killed it.

His combination of size, athletic ability, arm strength and work ethic is going to make him the top QB picked IMO. If the Cowboys love him they'll almost assuredly have to move ahead of Cleveland to get him.

Lynch really has effortless power in his throws. He might need 2-3 yrs, but the talent is there.

Agreed. That's why I'm thinking he might be the best option. The Cowboys could move back, get their QB and pick up a couple extra picks.

Average 40-yard dash time of WRs at Combine was 4.56 seconds - slowest average time for WRs at a Combine in 11 years the data has been kept.

Mayock: I'd love to see Wentz sit a year. I think if I'm #Cowboys at No. 4, I'm licking my lips.
