And that was such a great play bbgun posted above.

Anyone got the video clip of Carter to Ismail burning Champ Bailey (I think) for a game winner?

The play where Ismail rain into the end zone with his hands in the air and Champ was on the ground?

I hate to say it, but I say they do what they always do. Play to their opponent and the team that was able to score almost 50 points last week, barely gets out of the teens and if it's a win, it's a win by a small margin.

We'll play down to our opponent. It's what losers do. Outside of Romo, Lee, and a few others that's what we are. The biggest collection in the NFL.

This game will define the season for me.

If last week's offense shows up and we win with a comfortable lead, I think we'll win the division.

If we go back and forth and barely win, I feel we'll be the same 8-8 team and just miss the playoffs.

If we lose this game, I think the team quits on Garrett and we end up around 6-10 or 5-11.

Do you really want this? I don't like losing to the Redskins, but I do not want to win the division, and I do not want to make the playoffs. Because to do so, will only extend Garrett's stay. What's the point in fucking winning the division or just making the playoffs, merely to get our asses handed to us?

We are not a playoff team.

We are a team with playoff-talented caliber players.

But we do not have a playoff team HC.

Unlike Denver, Washington has some semblance of a pass rush in the form of Orakpo and Kerrigan, so I'm not sure Romo will have all day to scan the field again.

So the Red groupies can scream "right direction!" and "progress!" They won't care if our so-called success comes at the expense of shitty teams.

No it's my biggest fear actually. Making the playoffs and then getting destroyed by Green Bay, New Orleans, Seattle, or San Francisco.

This team needs the kind of jolt that only happens when a new HC coach comes in and has the clout to bench Jerry.

Sorry. But not sure how people think one game will change a teams fortunes by 5+ games.

It speaks to the mindset of this team.

If we blow them out, the team knows that they can play with anyone and put bad teams away.

If we win a close one, it shows we will continue to play to the level of our competition all year long, and stay mediocre.

If we lose, this team is too mentally weak to deal with the consequences of losing 3 games in a row, including 2 nationally televised games. The fallout will squash the team and they don't have the leadership needed to get them back on track.

This would be a game where screens would be highly effective, especially against Orakpo's side, because he's not great against the run. But we know the Jenius lacks the ability to exploit mismatches and take advantage of deficiencies, and so it's a moot point.

But I wouldn't count the Redskins out for the simple fact, that they always play up for the Cowboys. I wish for once we show and play with the same intense hatred for them that they have for the Cowboys. Not to mention, they are a better coached team, and that may count for something.

Red groupies? Are there such a thing? Not on this board I imagine.

Ok. I read you now. It's also my biggest fear. In fact, I hope we finish anywhere between 5-11 and 6-10. Because I'm somewhat afraid that 7-9 MIGHT win this division. In terms of draft position, does a 7-9 team that makes the playoffs (by winning the division), still has a higher draft slot than an 8-8 team that missed the playoffs?
