Per Werder....they have officially taken Romo out of playing.

I'll admit I kinda wanted to see him for a series or two, but understand why they'd hold him out too. Especially with the iffy OL situation.

Witten is definitely a HOF, but I think the lack of touchdowns hurt.

This team is retarded for not targeting him in the end zone more.

I agree with mb4 on this one. Maybe he's worthy but I don't know if he makes it. Sure he's been great all-around, but he never had the gaudy stats like Gonzalez or the new breed like Gronk or Graham, and the voters might hold that against him.

Bad thing is that with passing stats only going up and up, his stats are probably going to look less impressive 10 years from now.

Of course you can blame my favorite coach for a lot of those mediocre TD numbers. It's not like Witten wasn't capable, it's that for whatever inexplicable reason he wasn't targeted.

The other two might be close, but the fact that you are arguing Vernon Davis tells me all I need to know. Arguing Davis over Witten is flat ignorance.
