Yep, we were set to lose if not for those INTs.

That wasn't the same Cowboys team of the last 2 Super Bowls. We just showed up and expected to win.

It's a good thing the 49ers lost that year because they would have gone again. They owned Switzer.

Jerry's biggest mistake was not promiting a coach already on the staff. Butch Davis could have guided us to 5 straight IMO.

I didn't say that. But you're writing him off, and he's probably having his best season as an NFL QB. That's fucking stupid.

He's not having his best season dude. His comp % is inflated due to the massive amount of dunk and dunk throws. His TD to INT % is good, but he's missing way too many open guys and reads, especially downfield.

He's had two good games out of 8. One of those games definitely one of the alltime great games. True story.

I think Dallas would have won had we played SF in the playoffs. I was at the regular season game we lost to them in 1995 and that was clearly a game where the team had mailed it in, thinking a struggling Niner team was dead in the water. But we were way better than them that year.

I don't think Butch Davis was ready to be a HC yet after the 93 season. Norv Turner was, but unfortunately he left before all the Jimmy stuff went down.

Teams have figured out that Dallas runs the ball about 80% of the time when Harris is in the game. On this pic.twitter.com/Ns3Lv3wErL

LOL

I say he's probably having his best season.

You say, no he's not.

Then you proceed to tell me that all his stats are on par or exceeding his best seasons, but don't look at that because [insert dbair excuses here]. You should probably learn how to back up your points.

He's had two good games out of 8. One of those games definitely one of the alltime great games. True story.
Two good games? Come the fuck on. Your expectations of him are so far out of whack you've lost all connection with reality. If he doesn't throw for 350+ and 4 TDs with no INTs, then it's not a good game.

a classic case here proving "stats are for losers"

He played lights out vs Denver and had an excellent game vs the Rams

But he has not thrown the ball particularly well in most other weeks and last weeks game with the 102.9 rating is further proof of how bad "QB rating" is as a true correlation of how "well" a QB played. His QB rating is inflated because two WR's made sensational long catch and run TDs and he lucked out on another short TD throw to Dez by Dez making a sensational play. he missed open guys, threw flutter balls all over the place, had happy feet all day, missed a couple of easy opportunities to extend drives with what would have been short runs on 3rd down, and audibled into run plays (or didnt change out of them) constantly despite Detroit playing 8 and 9 man fronts alot of the game, especially on early downs.

He's done a better job this year of avoiding killer picks (save the Denver game, which we lost because of it) but his overall TD to INT ratio is good, but his accuracy numbers are vastly inflated by so many dink and dunk passes.

I agree with Dbair.

Romo hasn't played "bad" this year. But he's not playing at the level we've grown accustomed to.

And his ratings are inflated because he playing safe, making relatively high percentage throws, checking down too frequently, and ultimately not putting much pressure on defenses.

This is the damned if he does, damned if he doesn't argument.

He goes big, makes flashy plays, then throws INTs and everyone calls him a choker. Stats don't matter, when he gets in a big game, he'll melt down.

When he cuts down on his INTs, and plays conservatively, he's not playing at the level he can. He's lost something. What happened to Romo?

Do you want him making high percentage throws or not? Those types of throws are check downs and don't put pressure on the defense.

Next week if he throws a couple picks, then it's "dial it down Romo."

Hell even I noticed this stuff during the games.

We are so fucking retarded sometimes, it is amazing we even have the opportunity to finish .500.

He's going to choke in critical situations anyways.

Might as well take some shots down the field in the interim to try and open up the offense and strike a little fear into opposing defenses.

Dude if he were playing really good, our offense wouldnt have basically been in a stalemate for the last 3 games.

He also wasnt all that good vs NY, KC or San Diego. We won the NY game because of all the turnovers and getting two defensive scores. We lost the other two very winnable games in large part because Romo played bad. He played bad the last 3 games too.

Sorry, but we can agree to disagree on him having a good year and I will flat out guarantee you that if he continues playing like this that 1) we finish no better than 8-8 and 2) he wont make the probowl

I wish they had a good quarterback. Two back to back embarassing losses would be great.

I don't understand why this secondary is so bad, but it is.
