"I know the guys that were in there for (Church and Claiborne) really played well," Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said. "I think DeMarco Murray could have gone. I don’t know what risk we would have taken with him, but he could have gone."

Jerry questioning his toughness?

and therein lies the problem. Let the coach talk about out player performances and injuries. You get to talk about revenue and the Death Star.

No mention of the total lack of running game and playcalling that was so predictable that CB's were running straight at the RB?

I mentioned how bad Callahan was.

Romo still controls who he throws the ball to though. he hardly looked at Bryant all day, even on plays where Dez was drawing 1 on 1 coverage. That's on the QB

Also as Billick mentioned, Romo still gets two plays on virtually all downs. Its his job to pick run or pass, and many times Romo stuck with running plays against 8 man fronts.

LOVE the Garrett hate today. I just wish it would be more consistent amongst this fickle fanbase. Y'all are all pissy and whiny today because we lost in a bad way, but we'll go out and beat the Raiders or Vikings and many will be right back to slobbing his ginger knob (or ignoring his pathetic coaching skills at the very least).

Nothing has changed in the last 3-4 seasons. This guy sucked then and he sucks just as badly now.

No, he definitely sux more now. The fact he's made all these prior mistakes and then still has his head up his ass like at the end of todays game means he never learned shit.

Forget all that, I think I figured it out.

Jerry really wants the Cowboys to be the first 8-8 team to win the Super Bowl. He's PO'd the Giants won one at 9-7 and wants to outdo them.

Therefore we are saving our only 4 game winning streak for January/February.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are the Vikings really this bad? They'll probably play like SB champs against us next week.

Adrian Peterson is gonna run all over us. Coming off a loss like this and then playing the Cowboys is just what the Doctor ordered.

It's the worst secondary I've seen. They leave people wide fucking open. Sometimes there's not a defender within 10 yards.

Because neither of those throws were good. He got pretty lucky that both weren't deflected or even picked off.

He was lousy today dude, no way to spin it. he was misfiring on throws all day. Making bad reads and getting "happy feet". He also blew a couple of easy 3rd down conversions when he threw inexplicably bad passes instead of taking off and running a few yards to extend the drives. He must have had an acre on one play and still threw a terrible floating pass across his body that the receiver had no chance to catch instead of taking the easy run.
Lucky? You're fucking stupid.

NFL Draft Diamonds ‏@DraftDiamonds 38s
Dallas Cowboys need secondary help bad; 1st team in NFL history to surrender four 400 yard passing games http://wp.me/p3HUdq-37J

This organization has found a niche in breaking awful performance records like this one. Wasn't the last detroit loss the first time in cowboy history to lose a game they led by 14 points going into the 4th quarter? I think there have been three games QB's have lost with something like a 140+ QB rating and Romo has two of them?

Its astounding the way this team is finding ways to lose.

If I believed one could truly sell their soul to the devil, I'd buy that Jerry made a deal with him to get that third Super Bowl win but in exchange the cowboys would be tortured for eternity, never reach the SB again and lose in ways no team in the history of the league ever has.

I'm so damn sick of it

I've never understood why people say that. Was it because we signed Deion? We probably don't go to the Super Bowl that year without him. So we're looking at only 2 Super Bowls instead of 3. I'll be honest, that last Super Bowl wasn't fun at all. I didn't enjoy it.

I just find it ridiculous that we had money for Deion but didn't have it for all those solid players we lost starting in 1994.

I think its just fans being silly (me included) but is due to signing Deon and Jerry wanting to show the world he "did it his way" FUCKING PRICK!

I know what you mean about that game though, it was more of a relief to win that one versus the joy of winning (the players said as much), which is kind of shitty on my part considering they did win and we got to beat the hated Steelers. But I was at that game and we got damn lucky (Thanks O'donnel or whichever receiver ran the wrong route...twice!) to pull that off. The Steelers had turned that game around and were set to drive for the winning TD when Dallas got the INT
