To be fair, 1 of the turnovers we got was when their running back basically pitched the ball into a crowd of Cowboys.

Jags, bengals, Vikings, cards, panthers, titans etc. way too busy. You get some of these teams playing each other and in a defense optional game and it'll feel very detached and AFL

Best ones: cowboys, packers, raiders, steelers, giants, bears, redskins, old school broncos etc. The ones that scream football.

I wish Matt Johnson would stay healthy because he's fast and brings people down with alot of power and technique.

Yeah me too. Looked pretty good while he was in there. Definitely looks the part and his athletic ability was pretty obvious.

My point that is that one of the turnovers wasn't a result of our increased focus on the problem.

gotta walk before you can run...at least we recovered it

had a shot at a couple others as well

I'm just glad we upgraded from Zimmerman to Stewart to Ryan to Kiffin.

Couple more firings and well have Lombardi in the booth

Still a ball on the ground that our players had the wherewithal to jump on. In years past, we would have watched the other team jump on it. There's something to be said for that. Same thing happened with that fumble we had on offense. When it shot forward, I immediately expected the dolphins to get it. Was surprised when we came up with it.

I love when the announcers say stuff like that.

Like the other teams' coaches are just meh about turnovers.

Exactly. I remember the year NO won the Bowl and people were all over Gregg Williams' jock that he put all this emphasis on turnovers... The next year they were pretty average IIRC. Truth is, turnovers are highly variable and there's a lot of luck involved unless you have a special playmaker like an Ed Reed or maybe Tillman.

Exactly. The players actually fight for the ball now. It's shocking.

Yeah was it Atlanta last year where Ware just destroyed Matt Ryan on a sack, the ball was just floundering around on the ground with Cowboys nearby and no one could get on it.

Total gamechanger, that play would've been had we recovered.

That was a sexy sack on Ryan.

bbtheebs, post the video....
