‏@fishsports 36s #Cowboys source: If OL in Rd 1, a target at 47 is RB Montee Ball @1053thefan

Like the player alot. Not sure I like him enough to take him at 47, but I do think he's going to be good.

OK think of it this way.

Which way is the team better:

Bernadeau and Livings both return in their current starting positions and we have a 4th rd pick

OR

Cooper or Warmack replace one of thsoe two above, and we dont have the 4th rd pick.

This notion that you have that we are going to jump way up for a 4th is silly.

and in a month, you'll be telling us all how Bernadeau and Livings are amazing.

it makes sense, we need to rebuild the running game.

I would love a lineman, a back, tight end....

then add clabo this weekend......bam..instant running game upgrade

I think people are going to end up being surprised what the costs really end up being to move up, especially if its just 4-5 spots or so.

And no, I wont be singing the priases of two players that proved they couldnt play last yr. My preference is to see both guys replaced.

Everyones trying to trade down . 15 should be plenty for Warmack

that depends on where we are talking about moving up to.

If we move up from 18to 14, 15 etc..and give up a 4 for warmack, no one will complain....

especially since we all know they are going to trade back a pick to make up for the 7 we lost because we have to take the obiligatory safety/corner hybrid who is also a kick returner and makes great coffee.

no one will be upset about that...its what broaddus was mentioning, giving up 18 and 47 to get inside the top 10 for cooper.

that is nuts.

Yea that is not a hot pick . If SD misses out on the top tackles they'll gladly accommodate a trade down

If we did do that... How fast would Jerry yank Bernadeau's number? LOL

I'm just not buying all this. Guards aren't game-changers and there's a reason they don't go top 10.

it would be awesome if we moved back a little grabbed another 3rd.

picked two understated offensive lineman, then a defensive lineman, safety, rb and tight end.

then had them all work out and contribute starting in august.

I know we will be lucky to get two starters out of this, but really we should be able to get three to four big time contributors for a change if we are ever going to make the playoffs again.

Was anyone aware that the 49ers first round pick last season (Harbaugh's first draft) didn't catch a single pass? And they got basically no production from that class all year outside of James doing something here and there right?

Just struck me that Harbaugh had what you could say was a bad draft (even though it largely got them great picks this season) and won with Nolan/Singletary's players.

Okay this is kind of getting old. Lets just do this already. Who I got to call to see if I can get it started early?

I would love one of the big OL's, but honestly I am hoping we trade back quite a bit and end up with several extra picks tomorrow and Saturday. Getting out of the frist round altogether is not a bad idea, if they can get decent value moving down.

How many picks do the Cowboys have? We have them all, right? I don’t get all the trade back stuff. Pick your guy where your slot is. Dallas needs lineman, this draft is full of them, get a good one, don’t get cute with it.

No 7th rounder. It went to Miami in the Ryan Cook trade.

No Caleb McScrubby for us this year.
