Can't you see that... We trade a third to move up to 11-12 or so and take Cooper... Jerry then crows that he was the best player in the entire draft, what a bargain we got. :paper

we actually have a guard as the highest rated player in the draft?

I like Eric Fisher better but could see some teams saying Cooper and/or Warmack were the best pure players in this draft

If Cooper or Warmack were LT's, they'd easily be the top 2 picks I think.

broaddus said he would give up 47 to go get cooper...

wtf...thank god this guy got fired.

they also mentioned that the cowboys put out a lot of vibes about warmack because they wanted him talked up....

attn: stretch smith, mosley and norm.

What do you think it would cost? I think it will be cheaper than usual this year

I think no more than a 4th or 5th perhaps, especially if that other team really wants to moe down badly.

I'd hate giving up the pick because we're donw 1 already, but if its to get a potentially special player at a position we are desperate at, I'm good with it.

And with Cooper, he might be a pernennial probowler at G or C

You'd give a 1st and a 3rd for a guard? One who played last year at 285 or so? Srsly?

Not saying he won't be good, but no way would I pay that much for him.

Yeah, I like Cooper, but giving up picks to get him when we only have 6 is stupid seeing we have a ton of holes to fill.

I really don't think Warmack needed the Cowboys smokescreens to be "talked up."

I'd still wait on him. If he makes it to 18, awesome. If not, oh's well's.

OK think of it this way.

Which way is the team better:

Bernadeau and Livings both return in their current starting positions and we have a 4th rd pick

OR

Cooper or Warmack replace one of thsoe two above, and we dont have the 4th rd pick.

People have fallen in love with players based on all these mock drafts and shows to fill time.

there cant be anyway anybody is dumb enough to give up a 1 and a 2 for a guard.

I mean, a few years ago shawn Andrews was supposed to be the greatest guard ever, larry allen part 2.

the eagles went from 28 to 16 and gave 58 for him.......

so it seems crazy to give up 18 and 47

I'd consider the move up for him.. But not if he and Warmack are both still there.

Now if it only costs us a 4th to jump up there. My panties might get a little wet.
