I'm old school, I prefer the pocket passer's of the league. No knock on Cam, Kaepernick, RG3, or Wilson but sooner or later these defenses will figure them out.

It's good to have a mobile QB but not running like these guys do. One of these days a linebacker is going to come up and deliver a blow that the QB can't recover from.

I agree. A mobnile QB yes, but not a scampering/running QB. Romo is extremely mobile---has to be with this Oline, however, I do wish Romo would run more, especially when there is daylight ahead for a clear first down.

They're not mobile QBs. They are running QBs, and there's a difference; and they often do not progress much. They often run first, even if things don't break down.

True, but can't you agree that Cam had an subpar year after his rookie season? The DC's had a full year's worth of tape to figure him out. He was at least contained this year.

All these QBs got better as the season went along...why would they stop developing? It's not like they are shitty passers either...Wilson and Kaepernick in particular can pretty much make all the throws.

I don't think Carolina has done a good job surrounding him with talent and they don't really seem steady at HC and OC.

He used to until defenses figured him out. They knew when he was gonna scramble. But, yeah, I agree with you he should scramble more. A lot of the times it isn't designed. He has no choice because our OL is terrible.

There is nothing to figure out about Romo in terms of running...he just does not scramble for yards much anymore...even with green grasss ahead of him he is looking downfield.

I think he's being coached not too. He used to be criticized for not being a pure pocket passer.
