Will be pretty pathetic if they lose and still pass up on Payton.

Ginger might or might not develop into a good HC. Payton is already a GREAT one. Not sure why Jerry always makes these things so dramatic and complicated.

I guess some of it would depend on Payton himself. If he doesnt want to leave New Orleans, it doesnt matetr what Jones think or does.

But they should definitely make the effort to go through the motions here. Not calling him at all would be stupid, whether we win or lose Sunday night.

We lost the turnover battle 4-1 last time we played, and still only lost by 7.

Since then, Romo has thrown 10 touchdowns and only 1 interception.

If Murray doesn't turn the ball over, then I really don't think we have more than one turnover this time around and I really like our chances if that's the case.

#Redskins' Shanahan on Fletcher: "He can't really walk, and to see him play at the level he has ... really says everything about him."

I'll be so glad when this old fuck finally retires.

Hopefully Sunday is his last game.

That 1 interception I believe was the pseudo Hail Mary at the end of the half vs cincy.

Romo > the cowboys

Did you see him coaching our defense on wired up?
He needs to assert himself and mix up the tempo early in the 1st half.

Speaking of interceptions. Isn't Claiborn due for one?

I mean is the kid really going to end the year with one interception?

Yeah probably. Ryan begged all fucking offseason for new cornerbacks and they have 1 and 2 interceptions a piece.

Playing 6 yards off the ball probably doesn't help.

Kindas what you get when you constantly play your defense 6-8 yds off the ball, allow everyone free releases and generate almost no pass rush no matter how many times an opponent drops back

I had a dream I ran into Rob Ryan. I gave hime a hug and he was very nice until I asked him about the lack of pressure, then he gave me the cold shoulder and left.

Yea, someone has to post that video. I don’t think i have ever seen a QB run into the middle of a defensive huddle and yell at them not to jump offsides. Or, when he was talking to his own lineman, i believe he told them not to hold, even if the guy comes clean. I want Romo to win it all already. The deserves it with all the hell he takes.

Also, i was lurking around on extremeskins.com and i was kindof surprised to see all the blowout predictions. The Skins may win, but it will come down to the wire and it won’t be easy. When the Cowboys were down by 14 to the Saints, Romo said to himself “we aren’t done yet”. These Cowboys are battle harden and they won’t go quietly into the night.

Sounds like Romo is saying the same things we are. He shouldn't have to do that, but I'm glad he is.

I wouldn't buy into this bullshit. Shanahan always plays this game.

Probably the same. Every DC in the league has their DBs play off depending upon the situation and it's not like we do it 100% of the time so people need to stop acting like Dave Campo/Mike Zimmer/Wade Phillips/Todd Bowles/and Rex Ryan invented the concept of having your DBs play off coverage.

True, but good coaches also coach to their teams strengths, and our strength should be man to man press coverage, which was the reason they said they invested the resources they did this past offseason into Carr and Claiborne.

If they were going to play this passively, they should have just stuck with what we had (or went after more moderately priced talent) and invested the money elsewhere.

Just read some Merril Hoge hate article on Romo.

Hoge has to be the biggest douche at ESPN. That's a mighty big accomplishment considering that dudes like Keyshawn and Trent "going to act like a HOFer and pretend I wasn't one of the shittiest QBs ever" Dilfer are employed with the same company. It's just ironic when Merril (3100 yds and 20 TDs in 8 years during prime RB era) and Dilfer (cut after starting a Super Bowl and never made first string again) start criticising any current athlete.

Press coverage is one time when injuries can be valid excuse lines to mask shitty coaching.

You really trust McCray for support over the top?

I was over at ES yesterday and their game prediction thread is retarded.

You'd think we were a high school team while they were this undefeated juggernaut that could't be stopped.

Fckin morons are going to get humbled real quick on Sunday.

Tyler Polumbus is on field practicing today for #Redskins (didn't do so yesterday). Mike Shanahan will address his status after practice.

I actually hope he plays, because he sucks Doug Free style. The third stringer who played vs the Eagles actually did very well.

Good news:

@calexmendez
Garrett says Murray probably as healthy as he’s been all year. That’s why he had a Wednesday practice yesterday. ‘Feels really good now.’
