Playaction works when theres a threat of a run.
Since we can't run, there's no point in playaction. The defenders don't bite. Instead, it wastes a split second that Tony Romo can't afford to lose on account of how poor the Oline is.

Well play action usually helps an offensive line pass protect because the pass rushers have to account for the run...well if they follow the Zimmer “Read and React” philosophy. The sad fact is even with this advantage, they still can’t hold their blocks longer.
One thing i can’t figure out is why this team doesn’t run more screens. I thought after losing all those big fat lineman and getting trimmer faster ones that the Cowboys would be effective running those plays.

Can we move Ratliff to DE after the season now? It's been obvious for the last two seasons that he's too light and injury prone to be a 3-4 NT.
