That said, I do agree Jones is basically a non factor now. But the OL is completely different without Costa at C (for whatever reason).

Murray would have done better today than Jones, but lets not forget in weeks 2, 3 and 4 Murray was getting nothing either

The absolute worst part of this loss is that it encourages Jerry Jones's "we are so close" mentality.


I stand by my feelings before this season. I believe in our talent. Imagine what we could do with real discipline, real accountability, and real coaching.

There are so many options you can do lining up in a 2-TE running formation on a short-yardage play.

QB sneak
FB sneak
handoff
playaction
rollout

You don't simply have to run the football, and even still, situationally, when you need to take time off the clock, you're close to the redzone, and it's 2nd and 1, you have to at least attempt to run the football at least once.

Just the simplest shit evade this fucker. 4th and inches... he wants to go for it, but instead of calling a QB sneak and have Romo fall forward and autmaticlaly getting the 1st down, he calls a play to the FB, who is nearly 3 yards back, and so instead of it being 4th and inches, it's really 4th and 3.

1) Better interior OL
2) QB who doesnt turnover the ball in droves
3) Defense that has some pass rush
4) New return units on special teams
5) Several new coaches
6) Better safeties
7) Better football stadium to watch games
