A lot of talent on that list.

How many here have seen three or more of Cam Newton's games in the NFL?

He's an amazing athlete, a man among boys kind of player, but not such a great QB. Still, he's fun to watch.

Gotta find the next Orantes Grant or Bruce Thornton.

I'm looking forward to the game more than I normally would for a 1-4 opponent for that very reason. I didn't realize they ran that zone read as much as they do. Pretty unusual if not unheard of for the NFL.

The very few times I've seen him this year, he's been way inaccurate with his passes. Just hope he doesn't figure it out this week, because he can be so hard to stop if he gets rolling.

Pretty interesting excerpt from Mac Engel's FWST article today:

The Dallas Cowboys and the word "If" can't seem to live without each other these days.

Here are a few:

If the Cowboys cut out mistakes -- they have committed 12 turnovers, the second most in the NFC.

If the Cowboys' defense generates turnovers -- their total of four takeaways is the worst figure in the league.

If the Cowboys stop with the penalties -- they are the most penalized team in the league.

If the Cowboys stop giving up special teams touchdowns -- they have two so far.

If Garrett manages the clock better.

Stole my brothers Witten jersey. If we win today thank me. I've never worn this one. Lord knows we don't win when I wear my own jerseys

I have a feeling we win strong today. By like 10+. And we look good in all phases of the game.

Why? Because that's the kind of dicktease that would get me amped for the Giants game, where we're likely going to get rolled.

You feel like this every week.

But today I feel like we win because it's a trap. Not because we're like really good or anything.

We'll win and look impressive. It'll be the devil trying to trick me into thinking we have a shot against the Giants next week. I'll tune in next Sunday rocking my Romo jersey, my Cowboys shirt underneath, have a spread of (junk) food laid out, be all amped for the game, pace around the living room when we have the ball, yell "BIG THIRD DOWN BIG THIRD DOWN" when we get the Giants in third and long, or "HIT'EM" whenever a defender gets close to Eli.

Only to get angry, throw my jersey in the corner, turn my Cowboys shirt inside out, and sit apathetically on my couch by the third quarter as it becomes apparant to me that we suck again and this season is another wasted year.

Hope that makes sense.

memories of playing at carolina.

Deion sanders being the pussy that he is was knocked out when the team needed him during the playoff game in 96.

that crazy ass xmas eve game in 05 where everyone assumed we would get killed because we lost to the skins so bad the week before and then won a wild game.

Tony Romo making his first start after a week of the media laughing at him and the organization 24/7. Madden referred to him as montana like, keyshawn dropped a big first down which would have made it tough on us and we won.

I am scared of newton throwing the deep in and the post to smith today, i am afraid of our secondary trying to tackle newton when he runs....

Everything tells me we win this game but there is something in my head telling me there is just something off with this team...something just doesnt feel right and I fear we are going to be reliving 2010 here shortly.

oh and the skins beat the giants twice last year and I dont think washingtons defense is any good.

I think the giants win big and easy today.

Then we all get to hear the jerry quote about whipping the giants but at the stadium ad nauseum from the terrible writers in ny.

I didn't watch most of the 1996 season because I had just entered the military, and I missed that game. Thankfully.

Why was that game wild? I don't remember that.

And what year was it that Antonio Bryant caught a touchdown with like, under a minute in the game on fourth down from Quincy Carter? I seem to remember overcoming 2 fourth down conversions on that drive. The first one to Galloway. Any video of that last drive or is my memory way off?

Loved that game. Remember how good Tony played, and how I had for years been full of doubt on third and long, but immediately felt like Romo would come through on third and 7s and longer without worry.

That was a great game.
