lol at some of you.

The Giants were teetering on another epic 2nd half collapse and firing their HC to now they are the model of what we should be emulating

Well since this is directed at me, trying reading what I said again.

I didn't say we should emulate the giants in any way, I said the cowboys and the giants were being built out of the same mold in 05 and 06. It was the same approach. Both had the same trajectory because they were almost the same team.

Parcells retired, our front office got retarded again. Parcells and coughlin believe in using free agency and drafting particular types of players. The giants have not changed one bit.

We have changed completely. We draft retards like Martellus bennett and DEz Bryant then claim them stars before they ever do shit. We chase guys in the draft in the middle rounds who do not even have positions then release them two years later.

It's horrible what has happened. I know you wont buy it for a second because parcells was from the northeast, but facts are facts.

And the worst part now, there is no one here to fix it. The people who were dumb enough to ruin a good roster now have to fix there own mistakes and plug other holes.

No one said anything about emulating the giants. And they were on the verge of breaking down but they didn't, and now they are healthy again and the structure and dedication to fundamentals they have is on full display.

5 weeks ago they essentially benched there best running back in a critical game against us because he was late for a meeting. Compare that to how the cowboys handle things. Bryant is late to meetings there are reports all over the place and instead of him being held accountable the pr machine goes into image mode and declares nothing wrong and how he is a growing player.

Whatever.

Frankly this organization deserves to lose with people like Jerry, Stephen and Tom ciskowski at the top. They make the same stupid mistakes over and over.

where did I say I dont give them any credit?

Props to them. They beat one lousy team (Atlanta) and the supposed best team in football. Although with a defense as bad as Green Bay's has been ALL YEAR I dont know how they could have ever been considered the "best team"

dbairs homerism knows no bounds.

For the Giants to be in the position they are, even with as many players on IR as they have, is a testament.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are home. Again.

Well, I can name Jonathan Goff, Terrell Thomas, and Marvin Austin off the top of my head without looking it up. I know they have something like 13 or 14 guys on IR, total.

Goff and Thomas were key contributors on defense. And Austin is a talented rookie Dlineman, on a team loaded on the Dline who can send waves and waves of pressure at you with just their front four.

Not only that, but they've adequatedly replaced Boss, Steve Smith, and key offensive lineman without skipping a beat.

The Giants are a team who a lot of people pegged to be third in teh division based on the injuries and players who left via free agency. But because their front office and coaching is so sound, they're playing in the NFC title game.

But hey, we gots us a jillion dollar stadium with art work on display!!!!!!

Dude, they barely made the playoffs

They are where they are today because the game itself is so mediocre. You almost never heard of stuff like this when the quality of play in the league was at a high level. Sure there'd be some upsets here and there, but you didnt see teams that were fortunate just to even be in the playoff end up in championship games.
