GOTY

lol @ Witten not being top 5 in the NFC. Happens ever few years when some inconsistent TEs step up and have a solid season.

speaking of tight ends, the Pats are using Aaron Hernandez as a running back.... and it's working. WTF?

Okay....

So which Super Bowl match up appeals to you the most:

Green Bay vs Baltimore
Green Bay vs New England
Green Bay vs Houston
New York vs Baltimore
New York vs New England
New York vs Houston
San Fran vs Baltimore
San Fran vs New England
San Fran vs Baltimore

Give me San Fran vs New England.

New England is the only AFC team worth watching and they should be a good game for any of the NFC teams that are left.

give me the scoop on Nick Perry.. is he worth #14?

14 seems high but he is supposedly flying up the rankings.

Things I like about Perry, in regards to the Cowboys looking at him are:
*He's faster than Upshaw or Ingram, or at least he plays faster on film.
*He's more of a "pure" pass-rusher than either of those two.
*He used to play inside (DT) on passing downs and uses his hands well.
*Monte Kiffin's 4-3 defense uses their DE's in pass coverage and he has shown he can handle cover responsibilities.

I'm not sure I would take him over Upshaw, who's more established and much more physical, or the ultra-athletic Ingram, who was RB in high school and has played DE, DT, LB, and Special Teams while at South Carolina. This is where having a good scouting staff has to pay off. I would bet different teams will have different orders for these 3 players.

this is bullshit...vernon davis was AWFUL all year..even if i give you davis, go ahead and name 4 other TEs that are better in the nfc

That's why I said "MIGHT NOT" be top 5 in the NFC.

Witten isn't by any means the reason why we lose but he lacks the athleticism to even fall forward when being tackled by 185lb CB's.

The TE's below are the new athletic breed that teams will look for in the future imo.

Graham
Gronkowski
Finley
Davis
Pettigrew
Hernandez
Gates
Gresham
Cook

No to Nick Perry.

Just because we were fortunate enough to draft the one USC player last year that didn't underachieve in the NFL doesn't mean we should press our luck.
