Victor Cruz is the Tony Romo of NFL wide receivers. He makes some amazing plays, then some mind-numbingly stupid ones in the same outing.

We can pin-point it to his inexperience, what's Romo's excuse?

This has nothing to do with beaing "easy" in blaming Romo. Run the ball more... how much more? Run the ball the entire second half? No passes at all, right? Running the ball would not have eliminated Romo from making bad decision, which is the crux of this all. How many yards did we average per carry in that game? Do you think it's feasible we run and then end up with 3 and outs in short order and thereby allow the Lions to chip away at the lead?

Reign Romo in... as in benching him? In hindsight, I would be for that. But here's the problem. You keep running the ball and getting three and outs, and allowing the Lions to score, eventually, you're going to have to pass to maintain the lead.

This all comes down to Romo's bad decision-making. That's why we lost. Not because we didn't run the ball enough.

This is a true statement. If Romo sees something he likes, he's going to go there. Whether it's the lone pass of the night for him, or 1 among 50 or so.

There's not much a coach can do when a player runs on instincts and those instincts fail him. You can't curb those without completely ruining the player ala Parcells' coaching of Julius Jones. Either 1.) we live or die by it, 2.) Romo finally and competely grows out of it, or 3.) we move on from Romo and find someone else to be our QB.

Yeah, I watched Big Ben cream Tennessee's defense with 5 TDs (and all to the correct team!). I saw Dalton and Gabbart battle it out in the 2nd half with neither QB costing their team the win. Then there was Drew Brees leading his team on a late scoring drive and Cam Newton doing everything possible to upset the Saints. Fitzpatrick making completions and ensuring he didn't stop the defense from winning the game for him. McNabb eating Chunky Soup while handing the ball off 33 times. Painter and Cassell putting up great games with no turnovers.

But I'm guessing you only wanted me to see Vick and Eli turning the ball over. I should take the two worst performances of the day and say "Hey, at least Romo isn't as bad as those two!"

If I like Romo, but don't trust him in big games, and don't think he's a championship caliber QB... does that make me an anti-romo ******?

I hate you Ben Jarvis Green Ellis. You're taking carries from Steven Ridley, my fantasy sleeper.

I hate fantasy football.

Most of the fans who follow his team are morons.
