We don't need him. Picking up a 30-something marginal player that the Ravens dumped is equally stupid. Brent is already a backup behind Ratliff. Nothing will be gained bringing in Gregg. He's be a PROGRESS STOPPER AND TAKING UP A ROSTER SPOT. Why else the Ravens cut him? Because they have Cody.


Just because he is a vet don't mean shit. Alot vets got cut yesterday. You and all the rest of you clamoring for Grgg, it's probably doubtful that you even watched him, and just know that he played for the Ravens.

Falcons admitted Jamaal Anderson is a bust finally, cut him. WR Michael Jenkins too. Both were 1st rd picks, neither was a good pick.

Pretty sure he would fit, although he wasnt around ryan at new england played in similar defense.

He'd probably come on the cheap too... and if we end up with Nnamdi then we're gonna have to settle for a bunch of cheap guys on heavy rotation.

Dolphins cut Channing Crowder

The Miami Dolphins are saying goodbye to linebacker Channing Crowder.

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins cut Crowder today.

Crowder, who has played his entire six-year career with the Dolphins, was scheduled to make $5 million this season. Last season Crowder played in 11 games, starting them all.

In his comments to the media Crowder is one of the most consistently entertaining players in the league, so we look forward to hearing what he has to say about this.

One of the worst NFL trades of the last five years looks even worse Friday morning.

The Jaguars cut former No. 8 overall pick Derrick Harvey, just three years after the Jaguars gave up four draft picks to move up to get him. (They dealt the No. 26 pick, two third-rounders, and a fourth-round pick.)

That trade doomed former Jaguars G.M. Shack Harris, and the organization has spent a while recovering from it. We guessed Harvey might get cut and the team clearly couldn’t find anyone willing to make a trade.

Guard Vince Manuwai also got cut, according to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union.

The releases will help clear room for safety Dawan Landry, who is expected to sign Friday. We’ve seen that Landry was “close” to signing in Jacksonville for days now, so we’ll let you know when it actually happens.

I'm not sure who is still left out there but Vince Manuwai is a better option than Holland...

The Indianapolis Colts have released CB Kelvin Hayden. He was set to count $9.055 million against he team's salary cap this year and had a base salary of $6.105 million. He will count about $8.1 million in dead money against the team's salary cap, so they only save about $1 million in cap space with his release.
