A great athlete. lol

Jesus Christ. Since when do teams fear playing great athletes who aren't great football players? lol

It's a rare breed of fan who can talk football without their rooting interests making them sound like an idiot.

See, now you are putting words in my mouth, I never said he wasn't great at playing football. He is a great athlete who can play football, like Mike Vick and like Reggie Bush. None of them are the best at their respective positions but all three are feared because of their athleticism.

Well if he's great at playing football, then he's a great WR. Because that's what he plays, Einstein.

People fear Jackson because he's a great player. Not just a great athlete. Nobody fears a great athlete on an NFL football field unless they are also a great player. Great athletes litter the NFL scrap heap.

You are completely wrong on this. He does not do the things a great WR will do. He is not Andre Johnson, Steve Smith (CAR) or Larry Fitzgerald. Reggie Bush is not a great RB even though that is the position he plays and Jackson is not a great WR. Great WRs don't need to return punts or run end-arounds to be great but that is what Jackson does. Take away all of the extra stuff and line him up as just a WR every game and he is average at best.

He's made most of his 40 plus yard TDs outside of special teams.

He is not those other WRs, but they aren't him either. They can't do what he does. He's a great WR. A great RB on reverses and a great returner.

He's the best home run hitter in the history of the league. And he's got the stats to prove it.

You are a broken record. These things are not what makes a great WR.

I have changed my stance on this topic.

1) Bryant/Austin
2) Nicks/Smith
3) Jackson/Maclin
4) Moss/Armstrong

But I still think Jackson is the fastest, but not the best. Wait until next year with Dez. :towel

No, he isnt. And he isnt even close.

lol

Yeah. He isn't.

No player in the history of the game scores more long TDs than he has at this point in his career, but he's not the best at it. Not even close to the best.

You're a worthless read because you can't be objective.

Any talk about gamebreakers at WR begins with Bob Hayes, who changed the way teams played defense because he was such a force.

But you keep on with the diarrhea of the mouth about Desean Jackson if you want.

Bob Hayes doesn't amount to a pimple on DeSean Jackson's ass.

He changed the way teams played because he was the first. Not the best.

Maybe if you'd remove your face from Parcells rear long enough, you could go back and do some research before typing such non-sense

I've done the research, Mr. Cowboy. Bob Hayes was never the player DeSean Jackson is.

He's an overrated player by homeristic morons like you who genuflect at the guy for being the first speed receiver. Somehow that makes him the best to ever play. HE CHANGED TEH GAME!!

Nonsense. He's not even in the discussion with the great and superior DeSean Jackson. He's better and playing against vastly superior defensive players.

Bob Hayes was the earlier version of Rocket Ismail. If he was born later, he wouldn't be considered great.
