For a few weeks, I was rooting for Philly to win it all. But that was more because I wanted to shame McNabb.

For years I've been hearing BS about how McNabb carried the Eagles, and what a highroad taking warrior leader he was. I would've loved to see them win the Super Bowl the year after he was traded.

But the way the Shannahans have treated him in Washington kinda changes my stance. I think he's been shamed plenty this year. And I love it. Eagles winning a Super Bowl might cause him to kill himself.

The reality is, though, that the Eagles don't have a shot at the Super Bowl. Not a knee-jerk reaction against Vick or that offense. Rather, they just have too many young pups on defense, especially in that secondary. I could see Drew Brees or Matt Ryan eating them alive.

That whole team is underrated, Jamaal Charles has quietly put himself into the top 2 or 3 RB discussion. Yet you never hear about him either.

Weis and Haley did a good job with him. Still not sure if he'll sustain that kind of level of play, but he has had an outstanding year.

He went to a really good school. Can't think of it right now but I just know it was a topnotch university.

Gameday Chatter - Cowboys/Eagles 1/2/11....

Yes. I'm starting it extra early in a cheap attempt to have our first 1k chatter thread. This is our last shot at it.

I think we win this last game. The Eagles will be going through the motions looking to just survive for the wild card round. I think we play our ass off one more time and we win it fairly easily.

Plus, cmon....it would be just like this team to win this snoozer and mess up their draft slot.
