I'm still pissed off about the turnovers and penalties.

We could have overcame those. I'm pissed about the penalties because of the bullshit refs and their inconsistency. I saw two block in the backs committed by the Bears that were not called. A hit to the head on Romo that was not called. Did the refs get together and decide that whenever Romo gets hit to the head, that they will not call it? I've seen it all last year.

Jerry's problem is that he is REACTIVE and not PROACTIVE.

A PROACTIVE GM/decision-maker would not have cut loose Adams this past offseason, but rather 3 years ago.

A REACTIVE GM waits until now after age and injury fully set in before cutting him loose.

A PROACTIVE GM, does not allow all of his Oline but ONE, be of 32 years of age.

A PROACTIVE GM, looks at a start on his Oline and notices that he is 28 years old, and decide that they will immediatly draft for his replacement, so when the 28 year old becomes 30, his replacement already has two years experience under his belt, and if he decides to keep the 30 year old for one more year in order to transition to the replacement.

Unfortuantely or rather fortunately---depending upon one's perspective, getting rid of Gurode, Colombo, Kosier, and Davis are all REACTIVE moves, but moves that are necessary in order to become eventually proactive.

I would look to find a replacement for Columbo and Kosier. I think we can squeeze another year out of Davis at RG.

Then there's the dumb ass playing center, but we can't replace all of them in one year.

Actually we could. Sam Young---got to find out what we have in him.

We can draft both a Center and LG. Kick Gurode over to LG. If he doesn't want to comply... kick him to the curb. And let the draftee LG learn behind him for a year and then have him take over.

I've read that they did an xray which was negative, MRI will tell the story though. I'd hate to say it, but i bet he's done for the year.

More than likely. I still hope for a playoff berth, but that is looking like a pipe dream. I would say 8-8 after starting 0-2 is more realistic.
