The whole back and forth was incredible and surreal. I can understand both sides, if we're being honest. I can understand Ukraine's distrust of Russia and not wanting to give up land. But I can see Trump's point too. This thing goes far deeper than Ukraine good and Putin bad. That's for simple minded fucks like IK. The Ukraine opposition, with the backing of the US, overthrew their democratically elected government and then pushed for NATO inclusion at a time when NATO was expanding to Russia's border despite assertions that it wouldn't happen by previous US administrations.

There could have been peace but the US and the EU didn't want it. Now Trump is dealing with a fucking mess created by the mentally challenged dementia patient that occupied the oval office before him. There is no end game here. The North Koreans are involved and it's a matter of time before things get even more out of hand and other countries start supporting Russia with arms and troops. Trump is right when he told this fool that he's playing with WW3. Matter of fact, I think Zelenski wants to drag the US further into this conflict. Fuck him and fuck people that want this war to drag on with a nuclear superpower.

I agree with you generally, but I have a few points.

First, Trump is right. This was started because Biden was an incompetent.

But the reality is, it did start. Russia was the aggressor although I can understand why talk of Ukraine joining NATO upset them. Now that the war has started, Ukraine cannot win and no one is going to be willing to put boots on the ground to help them. Zelensky has a choice, a forever war with Russia with the backing of the US and Europe, or a negotiated peace. No one wants a forever war that drains resources from all countries involved.

That means only a negotiated peace is a realistic solution. But for that to happen, both sides will have to give up something. It sucks for Ukraine, but losing some land is better than losing the entire country. Trump understands this but Zelensky is unwilling to accept it.

What is clear is Zelensky want some guarantees that if he signs a peace deal Russia will not resume the invasion at a later date. He wants US troops on the ground. No way Trump will agree to that. Or he wants to join NATO and there is no way Russia agrees to that.

Trump is right in every way about this war.

Also, Trump is not favoring Putin. He is trying not to show too much favor to either side. He cannot negotiate with Putin if he is antagonistic to Putin. Putin, and Trump, knows he will win this war eventually.

This seems like a petty issue but I think it is a bigger deal than many. If Trump was meeting Zelensky in Ukraine and Zelensky was wearing his faux fatigues it would be one thing. But western protocol is for world leaders to wear suits when discussing important issues. Zelensky showing up in his faux fatigues is a sign of disrespect, not just to Trump but to the entire country. He came here with a bad attitude demanding things from the US when this is his war, not ours. 5 years ago, Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries on the planet. Then Biden started handing this corrupt country billions of dollars most of which can't be accounted for now.. Put on a f-ing suit if you are going to come here and make demands of the US!

What we knew or suspected all along. America was being Pimped by Big Pharma. Our Loss was The World's Gain.

Trump will bring lower drug prices by making Europe pay its fair share. Trump will end global free-riding and correct the long-standing imbalance in drug pricing in which European nations fail to pay their fair share for cures developed in America.

For decades, Americans have shouldered the high cost of drug development while Europe and other wealthy nations impose price controls on American exports that force pharmaceutical companies to sell below market value. This shifts the burden of research and development costs onto American consumers. It also creates shortages and deprives European patients of life-saving cures. Europe used to be the medical innovation leader. Price controls killed that. Right now, America is the medical innovation leader. But if we adopt European price controls, our leadership will end and China will take over. China is already taking steps to ensure that happens, betting on our failure to lead.

Trump will renegotiate international trade agreements to pressure foreign governments to pay fair market prices. Just as he compelled NATO allies to “pay their fair share”, Trump will hold European nations accountable for paying fair prices for pharmaceuticals—rather than relying on American taxpayers.

An America First drug policy will bring much-needed transparency and competition to the pharmaceutical market. By reforming PBMs and 340B, curbing the influence of middlemen, and ending global free-riding, the Trump administration will deliver the lower prescription drug prices that Americans need. That’s America First drug pricing.

Steve Bannon hitting it out the Park again Today ! ! !

geezuz, the people at the beginning of that video pontificating about what MAGA is are nuts. They believe Rogan, Huberman, Charlie Kirk, Jordan Peterson, et al have conspired together in some kind of coordinated effort to demand group think from their "followers" while bowing down to the "cult" of MAGA when its actually nothing more than disparate groups chewing the fat over various topics that happen to have common interest & agreement at times. Its completely organic and natural, unlike the contrived BS the Dems, et al constant spew.

Projection at its finest but I guess thats why these people see the world through their "rose colored glasses"

I've listen to Rogan for years because its a fun listen. He's been demonstrably liberal for the last decade, stating he voted for Bernie Sanders, needed welfare growing up and believes in a bit of "socialism" like the fire department, welfare, etc...Until the last year, he refused to back Trump and resisted having him on the show but the dipshit Dems went so berserk they even lost Rogan and then had the audacity to say he's bought and paid for or has succumbed to the "MAGA cult". Its astonishing to see/hear

If you want a fun listen where you can see this in action and Gupta dismantled by Rogan in the process, listen to Sonja Guptas interview on the JRE. Gupta had no idea what Rogans actual position was when he joined his cohorts at CNN demonizing Joe for taking Ivermectin (prescribed by his doctor) and characterized it as horse tranquilizer. Gupta actually thought Rogan was going to beat him up!

Long but worth it:

Rogan is a big old hippy and doesnt want to fight anyone. He constantly says if you are about to get in a fight, get the hell out of there and dont do it and this is coming from someone that could kick a lot of ass but he understands how futile violence is and how quickly peoples lives can be changed during a heated exchange where a simple punch can lead to someone cracking their head on the pavement leading to serious injury and even death...for what? ...because someone "fronted" or "disrespected" you?
