By the time it comes his chance to get in, his type of stats are going to be commonplace because its just so easy to pass the football...when a mediocre talent like a Nick Foles throws 27 tds and only 2 picks in a SEASON, that pretty much says all you need to know about how the game is played

Nah I think in today's political climate he gets in, first ballot, super bowl or no. He's a minority, see. His dad was a "immigrant" who made good. Plus, Tony was undrafted. It's the narrative now, the story that matters more than rings.

Back in Danny's day rings were pretty much a requirement to get in the HoF. Stats weren't really that well regarded.

Aikman was a far better QB than Romo. If Aikman and Irvin played today with these rules, they'd score almost every time they had the ball.

Then there was Emmitt, that OL, those supporting skill guys in Harper, Novacek, Kelvin Martin. That defense which was EONS better than this scrub team puts out there. Those special teams were the best in the league to, the only thing good about this current special teams is Dan Bailey.

Madden should add a feature where current teams can play teams of the past but with the caveat that the old teams can play by the rules in place at the time but the current teams have to play by the current rules, it would be fun to see how that plays out
