3 things.

1. Biden came off as a huge dick. Smarmy douche.

2. I'd say if anything, Joe might have stopped the bleeding from last week, as far as the debate performance his boss had. There's still the Libya scandal to deal with, which Uncle Joe lied about tonight.

3. The moderator was too much in the spotlight. Lehrer did a nice job last week of letting the debate evolve. Biden was allowed to speak his points, on the other hand Ryan was interrupted by the moderator on several occasions.

If you can get past Biden's condescending, rude demeanor, you could say he was on offense for most of the debate, which in turn would be a W for him, IMO.

You wish.

Biden did what his liberal radical base wanted. Ryan was more "presidential".

Biden acted like a child the whole night.

Nixon sweating like an over-worked whore.

GHWB looking at his watch.

Al Gore heavy sighing.

Biden acting like a class clown.

That'll be the story tomorrow.

What do you think I'm talking about?

Biden acted like a "child" and "class clown" in your words, brody.

In actuality, Lyin' Ryan got deuced on.

It happened particularly during the tax talk where the Romney ticket admitted that they have no plan at all. Ryan's exact quote when pressed for details on their tax plan was "lets work together to fill in the details".

Haha seriously? Ok.

If any of you in here say that Biden didn't act like a clown the entire night you are lying to yourself. He did this to keep any facts from getting in the way. And he still lied.

It's a win for the Obama camp regardless of whether it went for Ryan or not. It wasn't a blow out like it very well could have been if Biden hadn't played theater all night.

By Tuesday Obama is still going to be as desperate as before this debate.

Ryan was lying through his teeth. Biden acted appropriately given the situation. If the GOP thinks they can just lie their way into office and give vague facts and details when pressed, then they should be treated like children.

Now do democrats lie too? Of course they do, but Romney and Ryan both are consistently flipping and repainting their platform on the fly here. It's an insult to the intelligence of the American people really.

I came into this as an independent because I don't need to conform to some political party and have them do the thinking for me, but it's pretty clear the this Romney ticket is going to put us back to where Bush left us in 2008.

It really does seem like they're going to put us into another war and recklessly spend all over again. We're barely getting over that. They want to slash taxes and they have zero answers for how they're going to solidly balance that out.

He acted like an ass. Not like somebody worthy of the position he holds. That's not debatable.

"Recklessly spend"

Bush=$500 billion highest deficit, $4 trillion in 8 years.

Obama=$1 trillion deficits each year, $6+trillion in debt in 4 years.

Please, take me back to the bush years.

Where'd you copy/paste those numbers from?

If you're going to say "$6 trillion in 4 years" then give us a breakdown of it. Or else just admit that you're talking about of your ass and repeating something you heard on Hannity's radio show.

You'd dispute that the national debt went from 10+ trillion to 16+ trillion over the last four years?

you dispute the deficit spending has been a trillion+ the last 3+ years?

I don't need a calculator or a radio show to add it up.

Show me where I'm wrong. It took 8 years to add 4 tril, then 4 years to add 6 tril. That's a fact.

Yes I do. Prove me wrong. Give me a breakdown of Obama's spending "$6+ billion" like you claim here.

I certainly can provide a breakdown of Bush accumulating over $5 trillion in spending deficit...not "$4 tril" like you claim here.

If you want to talk economics like a big boy, then do some homework and figure it out. Right now, you're just regurgitating vague figures you've heard from god knows where, and pretending that you understand these things.

Bush enters @ $5.94 trillion. Bush leaves office with that number @ $10.69 Trillion.

Obama enters and in 4 years we're at $16+ trillion.

So what's your point?

So what's your point?

The point is that if you're going to claim Obama has spent $6+ trillion, I'd like to see how you're adding that number up.

It's way more complicated than just subtracting a couple numbers like you're attempting to do above.

Obama's stimulus plan alone cost $800 billion and he ate up another $600 billion to extend the tax cuts another two years. Those are his largest two expenses thus far, and first part of that saved the auto industry, along with thousands of jobs.

Now, those two things add up to $1.4 trillion, and no one is disputing the economic stimulus was actually effective.

The Bush Tax Cuts alone cost us $1.9 trillion and that's just one simple part of the Bush spending pie.

So again, educate us all on this magical $6 trillion in spending that you attach to Obama...

The deficit certainly is adding up to $16 trillion, but you're very wrong about it is getting there.

Wait a second, Buddy. I'm using the same model that Obama used in 08 when he said Bush was un-American or un-patriotic for running the debt up to the tune of $4+ trillion in 8 years.
