You mean no answers that you believe. It's because you think you know everything about it, and have made up your mind, and won't consider my "assertions." My "assertions" have been in response to your questions, so they're answers. You just don't like them.
As if you know what the reality is. You just parrot the common atheistic questions. Another bit of irony. Atheism is like a religion for you. You believe everything that faction of people state and discount everything Christians say.
Awwwww... did he? Maybe you should tell his mommy.
You just stated that Christians should keep their beliefs to themselves. You said his "tone" sounded like he supported quieting dissension. So he didn't tell you to be quiet. Now you're in here saying he started it. Just another example of your distorted view of Christians vs. Atheists. Poor atheists are so mistreated.
Ok. Listened to about twenty minutes of the first guy, and was hearing nothing but his OPINION on things. You said you had PROOF. You do know the difference between the two, right? And if so, where is this proof you've mentioned numerous times?
Lemme guess. If I had only listened for another minute, he would have revealed it, right?

You asked for evidence. I proved you two historians that study this shit for a living. They provided their reasons for believing Jesus was a myth. I don’t know if it’s true or not, doesn’t really matter to me. A real Jesus figure could have lived and the stories made up around him. Too bad you didn’t get to the second guy (Price), had some good stuff.

There are three parts, the first one is a bunch of mumbo jumbo. The second one is Carrier and the third dude is Price. Interesting stuff. Worth hearing.
I think there's alot of evidence that Jesus or Yeshua or some sort of Jewish revolutionary existed. In kind of a King Arthur sort of way. People took his ideas and ran with them, not unlike this

More than one occasion? I have no idea what you are talking about. My response was to pews assertion that historical evidence proved Jesus was real. I know there is historical evidence that questions that. I don’t have a specific side i take on that subject but i have heard some of the evidence to that view that i do find interesting. I gave you a link to that view point, because frankly i have no interest in typing/coping that stuff. Either way it doesn’t change my view or my stance, so i don’t think it matters. Not sure what else you are asking for?
So, yeah. Still waiting to see that proof. Or evidence. Or whatever it is you'd like to call it. All you've provided is a link to a couple guys' opinions on the matter. If all I have to do to show "proof" is link biblical scholars, well hell. Case closed.
Btw, if you want to call me an idiot go ahead. You don't have to delete it. Jesus will forgive you. lol

I think that last one i deleted it because you would have thought i was coping out and not answering your idiotic question. I never claimed to have high morals. I do drunk post, that is usually the culprit, lol
Religion has been used for centuries to control the populace. People with time on their hands tend to get in trouble or revolt. People organized by religion are easier to control or manipulate into a frenzy as needed.
Many generations of educated people making their own choices will change America and other civilized nations over time, but in every country there will be too many have-nots for "religious leaders" to not continue taking huge advantage.
Religious "leaders", or rather manipulators wield too much power and control over others to ever permanently go away. It's human nature to both lead and follow, and religion gives people the justification for both.

At the same time education leads to better conditions for all, educating the population and liberating/empowering women is in general what leads to less poverty and generally goes hand in hand with a lack of power wielded by religion. So you see the trends go in western nations and I think arab/latino nations will follow. Religion keeps losing influence/getting marginalized to the point where if it exists at all it exists as basically a social club. I think that's where we're headed worldwide. People are more educated than ever because information is so easy to come by, thanks to things like ease of access to the internet.
