Yup, he would play until the appeal has been decided while could be at the end of year or well into the off season at which point he would serve any suspension at the beginning of next season if there even is a suspension.

The NFLPA filing says Harold Henderson has informed the parties he'll rule on Zeke appeal by close of business today. So here we go.

I'm thinking that even if the NFL drops the suspension to 1 game Zeke and the NFLPA are taking this to federal court. Lowering the suspension only gives another black eye to the league. If they lower it thy are suggesting that some DV is better than others. It's ALL bad, so it's either all or nothing. Zeke accepting even a 1 game suspension looks really bad on him. He's basically be admitting he beat the girl.

At this point I think there's no evidence of any DV, therefore Elliott shouldn't settle for a lesser suspension. He should insist on it being dropped entirely.

The interesting thing is now even THAT might not be enough for the NFLPA because they see this as the only opportunity to potentially get back some power. They may want Zeke to push this through the courts even if he gets the suspension overturned completely.

The league conducted an utter sham of an "investigation" and even labeled the guy a woman beater and to this point, have not produced one shred of factual evidence to back up their claim. Meanwhile Zeke has boatloads of evidence to back up his claims. I hope he gets some people's jobs over this.

I was just talking about the results of Zeke's appeal

He will fight any game suspension. At this point he has to since he has claimed he is innocent the entire time.
