But unlike you, I remember the episode correctly. Magic is an Admiral now, not a General as you said, and Sam didn't rescue him. Sam saved his brother Tom and two of his squad, while leaped into Magic.

I don't need Peacock to watch the old episodes, I own the entire series on DVD.

Still unexplained is how Magic, as an enlisted man in Vietnam, (signalman) somehow managed to become an Admiral. It just simply doesn't happen in the real world.
