We all know that Jerry the owner would have fired Jerry the GM years ago. Right now with Jerry in his 70s he could be entering Al Davis type of craziness.

Will Jerry ever say "My way is just not working and I am going to bring in a real GM to run the Cowboys?"

Is his son going to be the next GM? If so are we doomed for the next 20 years?

I really think now is the time for Jerry to bring in an outside person to help him try and get the Boys back to what they were.

Highly doubtful that Jerry gives in at any point short of the thing being taken away.

Nothing Stephen has done leads me to believe he'd be any different.

I highly doubt Stephen is skipped over. Things would have to be real bad to get both of them out of the way.

Jerry's mother just died and she was in her 90's. She has a sister that's still alive. Jerry comes from good genes......we're all doomed.

And Al Davis was a football guy before he went full loon. When he drafted a kicker in the first round, someone should have taken the necessary steps to have him committed.

I think the fuzzy-headed grandson should take over. He can't be any worse than his grandfather. I don't think Stephen will improve things at all. He comes across as an asshole.

To answer the OP... I think Jerry will hog the spotlight until he takes a dirtnap.

I know his mom lived to be 90 and all, but I doubt she's been partying/drinking like he has. I bet he has maybe 10 years left, which is still way too long.

Stephen and Jerry did almost come to blows over signing Deion. I read where he also played a huge role in getting rid of TO.

He'll definitley make better decisions than Jerry IMO. That's not saying much, but at least it's something positive.

Stephen also convinced Jerry to cut TO after Jerry gave him an extension.
