How many drafts lately have been like 2009?
This years draft is looking pretty good. Most of the drafts since 2003 have been pretty good, with a couple of exceptions.
Nobody gets it right every yr with every pick.
Dez Bryant - Freak. But a diva freak, as witnessed by his temper tantrum yesterday. He's also not the brightest guy, which is why he still doesn't know where to line up half the time.
Sean Lee - Been injured half the year and is just now playing any real snaps. The best you can say is he's been okay. And I think that's a stretch.
Akwasi Owusu Ansah - You knew he was a project. But you expected him to help out in the return game. Well, we now know he can't return kicks. He's a complete unknown at safety at this point.
Sam Young - What positive can you say about him? He looked bad in preseason and won't get another chance until next preseason. He was a disappointment at Notre Dame and I have no reason to believe he won't be even worse stepping up in class.
Jamar Wall - If we thought he could play, he wouldn't be in Philadelphia right now.
Sean Lissemore - An undraftable player who hasn't shown anything the first year to make me believe otherwise.

I'd say it's a real leap of faith to say this draft class is looking like it's pretty good. There's a chance it could be, but I think there's an even better chance it won't be.
We did get a few nice undrafted free agents. But no Tony Romos or Miles Austins in the group.
