Considering our problems getting ints, that seems unlikely.

Last one we had was in week 17 last yr against Nick Folk
That's why I said 'gift wrapped'. Like Neil O'Donnell throwing it to a standing still, all alone Larry Brown type gift wrapped. Knowing our secondary though, they'd still probably drop it.

That wasn't gifts, those were earned. A product of scouting his tendencies and realizing how easy it was to fool him with a faux blitz and what he would do if fooled. It worked twice. One of Campo's final brilliant acts as a coach.

No way! Stealers fans have been assuring me for years that O'Donnell was paid to sabotage the game, and that we should all just consider it a Stealers win.

No matter how well it's documented, they'll bitterly cling to that just like Vikings fans still bitterly cling to the "Pearson pushed off" lament of the Hail Mary.

anybody worried about the defense w/o sean lee out 2-4 weeks again ??

Yes. Until I see this defense not collapse entirely without Sean Lee, I will continue to expect that. I'm a bit more hopeful this week, but I have to see it with my own eyes.

The only people paid in that game were the refs that Rooney bought.

That was a horribly biased game from officiating.

What a bunch of gobshite! O'Donnell was facing the two time champs in the last 4 years and just got nervous on the blitz. There was nothing remotely similar about Neil and Troy. To suggest Neil was throwing the game is putting them both on even ground. They're not, and Neil choked. They got their BS pass interference call, what more do they want?

He didn't get nervous, he merely kept to his tendencies he'd established on film all that season. We spotted it in breaking down tape on him, and took advantage.

The passes he threw to Larry Brown were his automatic "hot reads" they weren't a product of nervousness or anything approaching it. They were a product of scouting. He read blitz that we faked, his receivers didn't. It's a really simple thing.

I hope that when Linehan said during the week that Dallas was gonna sling the ball around this week...I hope he just tossed it out there to give the Lions something extra to think about.

Detroit has given up the most rushing yards in the NFL and they also allow the most yards per carry (5.4 yards)

With the Lions # 32 in those categories, this isnt the week I would necessarily sling the ball around the ole ball yard.

I don't know, you could be right. But on the first of Brown's picks O'Donnell had someone right in his face about to sack him. The throw looked panicked to me. The second pick better describes what you're saying.

Both of them were the same thing. It's well documented. We set him up and Brown knew right where to be. O'Donnell had the ball out exactly at the time he should have, both times.
