All the Parcells haters are just bitter that he bounced on us. They feel left at the alter. Anyone who is not an idiot should be able to recognize that he more than resurrected this franchise.

I was glad he left. It was time. He was toast as a coach.

I recognized that he helped turn this franchise around. But that doesn't mean every player we acquired from 2003-2006 is a "Parcells guy."

We had Sean Payton!!!! And let him leave to go to New Orleans. I would have promised him the head coaching job once Parcells was done just to keep the guy in Dallas, SMH!

It was just to hard to do. He wasn't viewed as Sean Payton the way he is now.

He almost left for Oakland in 05, but Jerry and parcells convinced him not to. In 06 parcells actually encouraged him to take the saints job because it was such a good opportunity.

pretty hard to keep him.

Is this a joke?

Parcells preferred Merriman over Ware.

Not when he was told of the financial situation. Broaddus has told this story a million times. Parcells liked them both, liked merrimans attitude more but when draft day came Jerry and Stephen said they would not take merman because he was represented by the posts and would hold out. Parcells immediately agreed.

So your stretching the truth a little.

All that matters is the front office was better atthat point and team had structure, players were being developed.

The structure is shot currently and we are driving on fumes talent wise because the front office flat out stinks.
