But, we're talking wildcard. That's ok.

But really - visualize us losing that Houston game. How you've seen us lose games we shouldn't lose over the years. Remember your disbelief when it happened over and over and over again. Really be honest with yourself, then tell me you would be shocked and surprised if Houston wins.
Yes because Houston is THAT bad and we are eons better than them.

Plus we are at home.

Again not saying it's impossible, but yes I would be shocked and if it happened, some people in the building should be fired.

We had some bad losses even during the Super Bowl years (1992 home loss to bad Rams team, 1993 bad losses to Washington and Atlanta, 1995 we got swept by a bad Washington team) so it happens. But while those losses were to bad teams, none of them were as bad as Houston is this year. Plus its later in the year, as BB mentioned they appeared to have 100% quit last week. They play Cleveland at home this week and are highly unlikely to win.

I'd agree with that. The problem is, you're erroneously counting Dallas as one of the "top few."
Sounds like Dooms is expecting the Lambeau Field version of the Cowboys to rear its ugly head again. I do expect them to lose again but I more expect that particular version to show up in the playoffs like usual.

I absolutely hate to have to depend on another team to help the Cowboys. But I will take it in a heartbeat, which is why I will be a lifelong fan of the Titans when they play the Egals, & then find an amazing amount of love for the Gnats the next week.

But clearly Dallas can only control the games they play, & I want them to be firmly in charge for the next three. Well, all six of the ones remaining, to be honest.

Right here and now I lean towards saying yes they can win the next three. The only one that gives me pause is the Jacksonville game, and I think that's only because I saw how good Trevor Lawrence looked last week against Baltimore. So if he sucks tomorrow I'm sure that'll be out of my head... :wink-new:

They had been pretty good all yr and in every game until this past weekend, when they got absolutely smoked by Detroit. Trevor Lawrence also got dinged up a bit in that game.

That game against them worries me some though for sure.

With Garoppolo done for the season, only the Cowboys stand between the Eagles and a Super Bowl berth. There would be nothing sweeter than either the Niners with their young backup quarterback OR Dallas knocking them out of the playoffs. Again, it all depends which Dallas team shows up.

I believe they are. I'm not a believer yet in Philadelphia. And TB looks shaky.
7th rd pick rookie QB says no way in hell.

They've lost to the Bears, Broncos and Falcons and only have one win vs a team that right now, is in the playoffs.

I'm not a believer in them.

It's not a team that needs much out of the QB position. Kid came off the bench and played well. It's the time of year where the better teams show it. It's happening.

The problem for the Cowboys is the Eagles' other four remaining games all look winnable: at Giants, at Bears, vs. Saints, vs. Giants. But if they're upset once, the door is open for the Cowboys to take the NFC East & maybe get the No. 1 seed, because of their potential tiebreaker edge. That race isn't over yet.

The Eagles WILL get exposed again as the Steelers did a few years back after winning 10 straight only to lose the first round in the playoffs. Would love to see Dallas put the final nail in that franchise & their fanbase coffin so they can loathe Dallas even more!
No, they are not
Yeah, they dropped to #7 after Garoppolo's injury. Eagles, Dallas, Cincy, Buffalo, KC & Minnesota are atop the Niners.

this has got to be the easiest path the Cowboys have had to return to the Super Bowl since 95'. Brady is the only stellar QB they'd have to overcome (which might be their achilles considering he's never lost to Dallas)

it will be interesting to see how they fuck it up

Spot on Yim. The only enemy Dallas has to face is themselves. Not just the players, but the entire coaching staff as well. Kellen Moore still scares me along with those crucial penalties. I hope neither bites us, the fans, at the end.

Dallas will win out while the Egals will lose out. Beginning today!
