I hate announcers sometimes.

And for the guy who is supposedly a referee czar or something, the BALL WAS NOT CATCHABLE. IT HIT THE DEFENDER IN THE BACK

That's not how the NFL defines "catchable". I think the other ref argued that Ebron initiated the contact.

We caught a break there. I completely understand not calling it there but shocked as hell they picked up the flag.

Yeah but that was a game altering flag they picked up for us and really had no business doing so.

Otherwise Detroit has a first in scoring range.

BALL WAS NOT CATCHABLE

It was underthrown and it hit our guy in the back. If you watched you saw Jerome Henderson sprinting down there screaming exactly that. And he was right. That's why they picked up the flag.

If the ball had been thrown higher or over the receivers head, it probably should have been called PI

Ebron did make contact, but I still think the correct call is it wasn't catchable. There's physically no way their receiver could have caught that ball unless it would have bounced straight up in the air or something.

Was there an explanation as to why they patched this officiating crew together?

How awful would that kid have felt if they would have went down and scored a TD to win.

It was justice that he got the strip sack to win it. His first NFL sack I believe.

They scratched and crawled to redemption through a mile of shit smelling foulness I can't even imagine, or maybe I just don't want to - even though I saw it all day..... But came out clean on the other side.....

Redemption. That's all I was screaming at the TV throughout that entire posession after the lost Lawrence fumble - and he did it, he redeemed himself.

And a grown man cried.

I completely agree about the PI. That said, Dallas almost didn't deserve to win, because it did require such calls and some other flags during the final drive to get them in position. Early on the refs seemed to be sucking Detroit schlong, but I'd rather a game be a game without ref help. Really, Garrett should be committed for allowing such a shit game plan. If they ran the ball once on 2nd down, I don't remember seeing it. That predictable shit play-calling is amazingly bad, it's surprising they won. Especially after Lawrence shitting the bed by trying to run with the ball.

They ran into our punter, they touched Dwayne twice on fair catches. Those are just 3 I remember.

That at flag they picked up on hitchens, the ball hit hitchens before he made contact. Granted, he should have had his head turned, but that didn't win the game for Dallas.

One of the all-time classic for the ages, Dallas Cowboys games.

I don't see how anyone could think that. They got away with plenty of shit in this game that didn't get called.

It will be the narrative all week long so brace yourself. There were many more bad calls against us but that one will loom large.

I agree with all that. Detroit was getting a massage and happy ending from the refs for most of the game. But unfortunately, all anyone will remember is the final moments and Dallas getting ref help. The flag should never have been thrown, it was un-catchable and that's that.
