how was I owned? took me two seconds to prove that the Hitch interfered and that the ball was catchable. then you try to change the subject by alleging that the TE committed a facemask penalty.

"alleging"

Just accept it. You were owned.

Yeah, Pettigrew grabbed Hitchens' face mask...

Yeah, it probably shouldn't have been PI in the first place...

But the refs did throw a flag for PI. Then in an unprecedented move, they picked it up after the ref announced the pass interference. I've never heard of that happening.

We dodged a bullet on that call... bottom line.

Now would it have lost us the game, who knows?

All I care about it we're moving on.

Ref Pete Morelli said back judge threw flag, head linesman said "contact was minimal and didn't warrant pass interference." Flag picked up.

Here's an idea: Maybe Stafford drives his team down the field to win it, and the non-call is moot.

More than likely. They were converting 3rd downs like they were free up to that point and nothing was stopping them.

Caldwell should have went for it. Not going for it there in that situation and their punter shanking it is what really doomed them.

I've literally never seen it picked up after the ref gets on the mic and says "Pass interference, defense, number 59..."

They don't go, hey guys, that pass interference I just announced, never mind.

It certainly doesn't happen every game.

I would have stroked out watching that game live, so many ups and downs, too many for my weak heart but phonomenal effort and grit to pull out the win
