No, that's why I stopped doing this at CO. 19-0!!! lame. Just surprising, prob because Philly didn't look to sharp on Monday night.

1) they need the game more
2) playing at home/raucous crowd
3) we're missing key people
4) up tempo offense will gas our defense

I think Philly is gonna win.

They'll be pissed and come out strong. We also will have to deal with an inspired Murray.

The one hope is that we still play better on the road than at home.

I think it's going to be close. It will all come down to who protects the ball better.

Philly is a Bradford injury away from the Mark Sanchez era returning. Therefore, I don't really care if they win.

They went out and got the most fragile QB for a system that relies solely on good QB play.

Can't play up-tempo for an entire game, and the thing about uptempo... it cuts both ways when it gasses defense, meaning that the Eagles' defense will also be gassed, especially if the uptempo offense ends up going 3 and out.

Is that why Chip Kelley barely used Murray against the Falcons? Because he wanted Murray to be inspired when he faces his old team?

One of the biggest offseason bullshit stories is how Murray fits Kelley's offense. The acquisitioning of Murray was about keeping him from the Cowboys. Nothing more.

I'm not sure what to make of the Cowboys performance vs. the Giants.

On the one hand, it is very unusual for a team to win a game with -3 turnovers. It suggests that the Cowboys are far superior to the Giants ... to be able to beat the Giants despite spotting them points and possessions.

On the other hand, the Cowboys did turn over the ball 3 times, while generating no takeaways. That's not a great sign.

Two of them though were just fluky, bizarre bounce of the ball type stuff. It's not like Tony was throwing mindlessly into triple coverage, or straight to a guy he didn't see, or anything. It's not like our backs were just putting the ball on the ground repeatedly.

I'm not too concerned about the turnovers in that overall bizarre, Giants game.

Seems like everyone in the media is picking the Eagles. Not only that but to win in a blowout.

So much for the Super Bowl hype and the feeling of entitlement. Cowboys are now the underdogs and will probably stay in that role for the next couple of games.

I have more faith in our offense without Dez than with Philly's offense. They don't seem to be in sync yet given all the new personnel. I wonder if Chip Kelly is planning on running shotgun zone reads with DeMarco all season. I think Philly will be dangerous later in the year, but right now, they don't scare me much. And we do seem to play better on the road... That said, if we can't take care of the ball, it won't matter.

I'm picking Dallas to win. If we protect the ball, then it could be by double digits.

I'm hoping for Murray to even the career fumble score some, maybe give us two or three.

I think you're right. If they are able to put up points without being in synch and without Murray; they could be pretty good later on.

Eagles break tendency and try to feature run-heavy with "Murray's revenge." It appears to work for awhile with Murray running wild, but then Murray coughs up the ball a couple of times for us instead and we're able to keep it close, and pull it out at the end.

Dallas 27
Philadelphia 19

This is how I'm leaning as well. I just think Murray is going to try way too hard to make a statement. And who knows Murrays faults better than the D-Line he practiced against his entire career?

Our defense will be ball hunting more than ever when the rock is in butter fingers hands.

I still think we will win but it will be a win like we had in NY with it coming down to the wire with the ball in Romo's hands and him needing to come up big.

COWBOYS by 1 or 2

Exactly! What was it? 11 Times Bradford was put on his back. And some of those were hard hits. I'm actually surprised he made it out of that game unscathed. He won't make it thru the rest of the season.

Tough picking against Romo right now but I'm gonna say Eagles. Worried about our defense in this one. Should be a close game.
