I doubt the Eagles mirror the success they had last year and I think a lot of flaws with Chips offense gets exposed.

I have zero read on Gruden, but I still don't like Rg3.

I expect the Giants will have a bounce back season.

I never count out the Giants and always consider them a dangerous adversary.

Chip gets his sophomore year with the impatient Philly fans. I don't think he has the QB he needs for his system, among other offensive flaws but I expect improved defense this year.

Washington is just a hot mess with the naming controversy, RG3 getting game planned for and injured as a result, and the porous defense. They have no history of improvement at all in recent years and I see no reason to expect much out of them this year.

I'll take Dallas to win the East - you're not likely to have a injury plagued season like last year, twice in a row. You're not going to see 20 street level ham and eggers who weren't on the roster in week one lining up to play defense in Dallas like you did last year. The 4-3 is much simpler than the 3-4, the players don't have to memorize a 1200 page defensive playbook, and can play much more loose, aggressive and fly to the ball. Plus, in a 3-4 injuries kill you not mainly due to physical differences in the backups, but to the mental loss that results. Typically the backups in a 3-4 have a much more limited grasp of the system than the starters. in a 4-3, you can just plug people in and they have a good grasp of the system pretty quick if they didn't have it before.

I expect much better defensive play in Dallas, and there's no reason to believe the offense won't be making yards in big chunks and putting up the points.

You are aware that we played a 4-3 last year right? You are also aware that the guys who came in to this simplistic system still sucked royally?

This might be the worst post ive read on this teams chances. At least get up to date information.

That has to be a copy and paste job from last year lol.

And it's funny bc everyone thought we couldn't get decimated w injuries again last year, but we did.

I am definitely aware of that. First year of a system the personnel wasn't suited for, plus unprecedented injuries and still, the worst defense in the league held its own more times than not, considering everything.

The year before last was nothing compared to last year, on the injury front.

You won't see last year's level twice in a row, it was unprecedented and very unlikely to happen again.. Not that there won't be injuries, of course there always are. But do you really think Dallas is going to have to play 21 defensive linemen, 8 defensive backs and four linebackers, over and above the day one starters?

People like to forget the Dallas defense was in the top five in the league, as late as week four of the season, before the injuries came crashing down.

Dallas won't win because we have a pretend head coach.

Coaching matters in the NFL more than any other sports league

Top five as late as week 4? Hahahahaha. Are you serious? Does that mean something to you?
It means they weren't too shabby until injuries mounted.

We shall see what the future holds. I have a good source for crow and can even have it cooked to your liking.

As a aside, there haven't been any "glory days" for Dallas in almost 20 years. When are they coming back, as your username seems to assert?

We are the most entertaining team in the league. We have the best attendance and we are the biggest money maker, not sure what else you expect.

Have you seen our stadium? There's nothing to be ashamed of

It's a garish, lurid piece of crap. Pretentious and overdone. It's a fat, sweaty LuLu Roman with too much makeup on compared to the svelte Daisy Duke Texas Stadium was.

The new stadium has no history, no soul. It's a very good reflection of its owner.

That idiots continue to fill it and also continue to buy the swag, rewarding Jerry for nearly 20 years of mediocrity, isn't "glory" of any kind.

Yeah, it is a grotesque monument to Jerry Jones and his special brand of ownership of this franchise.

All about showmanship and next to zero about football and winning.

He had a chance to create a unique stadium that could represent a real home field advantage. Look at what Allen did for the Seahawks stadium.

Instead he created this thing which honestly I hate to watch the team play in. I'd prefer road games rather than seeing cage dancers and modern art associated with playing football.

Skins are on the upswing. I see a down year for the Eagles.

The Eagles are going to need a monster contribution from rookie Jordan Matthews to provide the threat Jackson did. Sorry, Maclin has never been that guy. I also wasn't all that impressed with their defensive picks either.

Not too impressed with the Redskins either. The Giants are a team I think can make a comeback if their new offense gels and they stay healthy.
