Dak no longer gives a shit ( as if he ever did) about winning a championship , he's career is winding down and all that matters to him now is how much more he can suck Jerry dry before he is booted. It time for Jerry to give Trey Lance more playing time. Dak is a lame duck QB and needs gone!.

Dallas is entering a pivotal year w/out making real moves to ensure their future. Even beyond Dak, they still have to make moves on long-term contracts for Lamb & Parsons. They could have acquired multiple first-round draft picks for Dak & have the money to pay Lamb & Parsons. It's inexcusable that they haven't made the requisite moves to capitalize on such a huge upcoming season.

I don't think this is true. There's a difference between not giving a shit and just not being capable.

By all accounts he works his ass off, but he is not (and never will be) an elite winner like Roger or Troy. And while everyone says he is a quality locker room leader, he is not the same type of fire and brimstone hold everyone accountable guy that 12 and 8 were either.

So according to this graphic, assuming the numbers are legit
(which I’m not willing to put in the time and effort to verify)

the only difference between Dak and Mahomes is Dak chokes in the playoffs and Mahomes excels in the playoffs.

Seems legit

I'm sure the Prescott people are throwing that in Jones and Spawn's face every day trying to make that case

As I'm enjoying my delicious peach humble pie, this season will not be any different than the other 8 as long as this guy is our quarterback! Wish he would just leave.

First note that the Chiefs let their superstar WR go. There is only so much money to go around. And the Vikings let their franchise QB go. There is only so much money to go around. Cowboys fans want Dak and Lamb on record contracts. Then we will be complaining when there is no depth. Something has to give.

There is another difference: The contract. Spotrac is constantly updating their website, so it is difficult for me to prove, but that 250 million dollar contract that people made such a big deal out of was an illusion. The contract that Mahomes signed is very team friendly. Even if we just do simple math it comes to 25 million per year, which is very reasonable.

Dak is trying to make every penny. I recall reading that as a rookie Dak made 50 million in endorsements. If we extend that out to every year, how much money is that in endorsements alone?

Don't tell me that it would be an insult for Dak to play for 30 million per year because it is "his turn". Note that Mahomes isn't getting "his turn". Mahomes knows he will cash in enormously by winning Superbowls.

Yes, Jerry is likely to F it up anyway, but if Will McClay, for example, sees a trade possibility, the Cowboys wouldn't necessarily have to ask, "Can we afford him?"

Been death of my fandom by a thousand paper cuts over the last 30 years. This might have finally been the kill shot. For the last 160 million dollar contract, the ole wildcatter got exactly one playoff win over a team that didn't belong in the playoffs. Now they are stuck with the monument to mediocrity for at least four more years. Probably more than I can bare.

Jones doesn't care, he's got 3 super bowl rings, he cares more about making them merchandizing champions than NFL world champion's and his son will follow his footsteps. Jerry will just keep changing coaches every 3 to 4 years to keep the heat off him.

Money changed Prescott. He used to be so humble. Now he's another "narcissistic personality disorder" victim like so many others. Kelce's, Tyreek Hill, Antonio Brown, Rodgers etc...
