Dak is playing extremely well taking advantage of the opportunities he's been given. Statistically he simply blows other QB's away, past greats, whomever.
Eye test, he passes clearly. It's taken 6 years, but he has clearly arrived and is dominant. No one short of Tom Brady has played better.
This is the first time this kid has had a defense he can rely on.
My only reservation at his point is about his health. He's getting hurt all the time now. HIs shoulder has impacted his throws, and now it's his calf.
This is Troy Aikman vs Green Bay 1995 regular season with a calf injury-- all hands on deck, PROTECT DAK. Do that, play the defensive game you've always played and he wins another against the Vikings.
Vikings have had the bye week to prepare, so expect a bunch of adjustments, but bottom line you can't stop an offense where the QB is finding the open guy, the OL is blocking the ways ours has, the running backs go two deep, and the receiving targets are elite and unselfish with fantastic role players like Schultz filling in gaps.
Sooner or later the defense will take the ball away, so really your only hope is a referee bias full of phantom calls like against NE or injuries to key players.
