Does it seem to help? I have not had one in twenty years and only had the flu once.

Ingredients:
•Egg proteins: including avian contaminant viruses
•Gelatin: can cause allergic reactions and anaphylaxis are usually associated with sensitivity to egg or gelatin
•Polysorbate 80 (Tween80™): can cause severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. Also associated with infertility in female mice.
•Formaldehyde: known carcinogen
•Triton X100: a strong detergent
•Sucrose: table sugar
•Resin: known to cause allergic reactions
•Gentamycin: an antibiotic
•Thimerosal: mercury is still in multidose flu shot vials

:lol Fucking Bob.

I don't bother with doctors until something is wrong. General check-ups are fine; check the blood pressure, the cholesterol, etc, but that aside I avoid drugs and taking crap when I feel fine. If I get the flu, which I generally don't, I ride it out and get over it after a few days.

I got one a month ago but it didn't work. I've had the flu for about 5 days now.

I got some kind of virus a month ago that felt like the flu, so I went to CVS and got a flu shot and it didn't work, went to a one of those quick care clinics and they couldn't tell me what I had. I never really got over it and now I have the flu a month later. I'm thinking I got some kind of virus that turned into the flu so the flu shot I got was too late.

That's OK.

I actually like my insurance plan. I get an account that has around $500 in it every year that I use for copays at the Dr's office. It's just not good on prescriptions. You have to hit like $1000 in prescriptions for the year before you start paying a $20 copay.

I've never had the flu and have never had a flu shot.

You don't want to get it. I usually get it every year. This year's version hasn't been bad, but a few times I've wanted to die. Like last year. I need to start getting flu shots way before the start of flu season. One of these years I'll learn.
