There's not a choice I can check so I'll say:
No my opinion wouldn't change, and I don't think he's clueless.
As I've said since he took over, I think he's the best we're going to get under Jerry. He's got flaws, no doubt, as any coach will but I don't believe he's an empty shell and like many things he brings to the table. I don't like several things either.
As long as Jerry is alive, I say just give Garrett a 10 year contract that automatically expires upon the death of JJ.
When JJ's 6 feet under, we can start to dream again (unless his spawn is a chip off the ol block). In the mean time, I think Garrett is the best chance for the blind squirrel of a GM to find a nut.
Jerry is old, rich, has his stadium and doesn't give a fuck about the fans so he's NEVER bringing in another hard-ass coach that has power and makes him and his players uncomfortable.
