If that happens, we can officially rule out jeri every making worthwhile changes (wasn't much hope of that anyone, so no biggie)

More importantly, you can just go ahead and get used to Garrett for another 10 years as HC (unless he decided to retire) because optimistic jeri will spend the rest of his life wildcatting for another season like this reminding people he told us so when he was crying and talking about redemption

The question is, would a super bowl win be worth it?

What about a super bowl loss?

** Jerry would likely act the same way with a win or loss since getting there would be good enough for him
Had this same discussion with a buddy and he was ok extending Garrett if he "lead" us to a Super Bowl win but I am on the opposite end of things...I think this team wins despite of the Red Fraud and loses because of him so therefore a Super Bowl win I would put all on the players and would still want Garrett canned...fucken' enough is enough!!!

Let's be honest. I hate Garrett and Jones with every fiber of my being. I also think Dak is a fraud. Buy if we were to make the SB, I'd have to believe that Dak played well and the O and D stepped up and part of that I'd attribute to coaching. Wouldn't Garrett, and even Dak, have earned some type of extension in that scenario?

I don't think it's going to happen. Everyone keeps pointing to the run the Giants made but that happens very rarely. But if this team was to make it through the playoffs and get to the SB, they'd have to beat some solid teams. I'm a believer that folks have to earn it and a SB run would fit that bill.
Maybe so but that still is not enough to extend that fucken' Red Dolt...I would chalk it up to a Christmas miracle that he got his head out of his ass for a few games but I am with Scot on this...I'm not interested in seeing Garrett any more on that sideline regardless of the end results of this season (for that matter I'm pulling for Jerrah's dementia and alzheimer's to kick in to full gear during the off season...or may the Grim Reaper make a visit to the Jones house either or works for me).

I'm with you on the grim reaper. I'd party hard when that day comes. If this game was meaningless, I'd be rooting for a loss to gain a better draft position. But I can't say I'm there yet with the East and a playoff birth on the line. Don't get me wrong though, it's just been a ho-hum normal day for me. No anticipation, no excitement, no nothing.

More referee FAIL in the NFL.

Saints-Titans game, appeared the Saint DB led with the shoulder to the helmet against a defenseless WR on a huge catch & fumble play, no call.

Then on a play that appeared to be a Saint TD to Michael Thomas, he tears his helmet off on the field celebrating what he thinks is a TD and NFL record setting catch. Unless the rule has been changed, players intentionally removing their helmet is a 15 yd penalty. The review overturned the TD, the Saints should have had 1st and goal from the 16 yd line. Instead they had 1st and goal from the 1 and scored a TD a couple plays later.

And the bonehead announcers and ****** "referee expert" in studio didn't mention either scenario.

Edit: It (taking helmet off) was something that was called at least once this yr, against a Colts player

EVEN THOUGH the Egals are playing for their playoff lives and we're really not, and EVEN THOUGH we never know who's gonna show up, my pick is DALLAS by 4.

Missign top 3 WR's, probowl RT and key RB, what happens?

Move the ball down field effortlessly against shitpile Dallas coached defense.

What a fucking joke

Getting run off the field by a team with half their team injured and not playing.

Why should anyone have expected any different.

This team is the biggest fucking joke in the history of the league.

This is the same Eagles team that played horribly in a loss to Miami and basically needed miracles to beat the Redskins and Giants the last two weeks.

And all you dolts that talk about lack of field position. It's hard to switch field position or win the battle when you're having so many 3 and outs.

Two horrible defensive series.

Two horrible offensive series.

Team looks flat and listless, like its a preseason game or something.

So far this game is a microcosm of Jason Garrett's entire HC career. His fucking lousy era cant end soon enough either.
