I think Rodgers pouting on draft day because he didn't go sooner is Aaron Rodgers in a nutshell.
Related: Brett Favre saying he wasn't there to mentor Aaron was Brett Favre in a nutshell.

A starting QB 's job isn't to mentor their backup despite what the media tries to tell the general public.

Some lame ass attempts at tackling on that 99 yard run BTW. I've seen better efferts in the park on the weekend.

I got rocked a few times in pads for high school football. A couple of concussions, a dislocated thumb, dislocated pinky, and some sprains that turned things purple, black and blue, but the worst injury I had was pickup football where a guy drilled me in the back hard enough to crack a rib. I still get aches from it 30 years later.

Dorsett still holds the record on his own cus it was "99 yards-AND-A-HALF!".
This was 99 yards-AND THREE QUARTERS!

But, 11 men on the field for Tennessee. But dude had to do some violent stiffarms to get there, and deserves a big asterisk on his record because on the first one he took a big ole handful of facemask and twisted it, turned it up, then slammed it down to get away, and the refs missed it of course.

No.48 of the Jags should retire immediately out of embarrassment. What was he trying to do? Hold Henry's hand as he ran down the sideline?

The biggest shame is that the graceful and balletic Tony D now has to share the record with a one speed lumbering carthorse in Henry.

The Jags are mailing this in. Henry is running riot. Coming into this game he had just over 400 yards for the season, at an average of 3.7, with a longest run of just 16.

Not his job, but seems like he'd want to help a guy out from time to time.
Point is, Brett and Aaron are dicks.

I already picked the Cowboys

I of course want the Cowboys

But what we NEED is for the Eagles to win.

If the Cowboys win we have a 98% chance of making the playoffs

If we lose it drops down to a 67% chance of making the playoffs. Missing the playoffs is what we need to make sure Garrett is gone in the off season. Anything less and Garrett is here for at least one more year. And probably even extended for another Five Years!

Yeah the tackling on some of those plays (esp the 99 yd run) reeked of "we quit" by the Jags

I think Marone's getting whacked after the season.

Derrick Henry.. 99 yard TD run from scrimmage for a Titans TD. Ties Dorsett's all-time record that can never be broken.

Just now.

Give jags a lot of credit for that 99 yd run, they had to really want to tackle that bad to make it happen.

I just heard a disturbing stat

This seasons Cowboys are on pace to break our teams record for most sacks in a season.

In 1986 the Cowboys were sacked 60 times.

So far this season we have been sacked 45 times. So we stand a good chance at surpassing 60 sacks unless something drastically changes.

Its definitely a combination of things. The bad OL we hired is certainly to blame for the first half of the season. Fred missing all year has played a major role, and Prescott deserves some of the blame for holding the ball far too long on many of those sacks. Not all the sacks were because of "bad" pass protection.

What a long fucking week. 78 hours in one week sucks! I am really looking forward to unwinding this weekend and watching the Cowboys destroy the defending Super Bowl Champs hopes of making the post season. If we beat the Eagles this weekend we pretty much clinch the division and knock out Philly all in one shot! I can’t think of a more satisfying win!!

We need to go in to this game with the attitude that we are going to destroy them from the first drive to the last drive! Step on their throats from the very beginning and never let up!

Go Cowboys!

table is set, confidence is high, its there for the taking and the edge seems decidedly favored toward the cowboys thus it has all the makings of the following tee'd up and ready to happen:

It will not surprise me if we shit the bed tomorrow

But this is the first game since week 1 that I’m actually excited about. I don’t know why. Any success we have at this point will just lead to Garrett sticking around longer. Plus none of it will matter anyway, even is we win out the rest of the season we will still go 1 and done in the playoffs!
