I've been told many times at the Zone that big-time free agency NEVER EVER works.

Jalen Ramsey and Marcus Peters were exchanging angry and profane words in the Coliseum tunnel after the game. Ramsey was being restrained by Rams personnel from getting back down the tunnel towards Peters.

Dallas Cowboys fans have no doubt been fuming ever since a pair of tripping calls in Sunday’s 13-9 loss to the New England Patriots hurt the team’s chances at a win at Gillette Stadium. The NFL acknowledging they got the calls wrong may not change the outcome, but it could give the fans some vindication.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Clarence Hill Jr. reported on Monday that the NFL told the Cowboys they got both calls wrong.

The first tripping call was made against Tyron Smith in the first quarter and turned a 2nd-and-13 into a 2nd-and-23. The Cowboys ended up having their punt blocked on the possession, which led to the only touchdown of the game.

I can not fathom our Special Teams coach was allowed to board the plane after the game. I would have sent him on the Greyhound back to Dallas.

Yeah its fucking sad. The dude has led one of the epic bad special teams units in franchise history. I posted the overall ST stats the other day after the game and they are horrible.

I fully expect Garrett to pull a rabbit out of his ass this upcoming Bills game. He always seems to find a way to win when the pressure on him builds.

I hope we lose in horrible fashion on Thanksgiving in front of millions watching just so the pressure keeps building on Garrett

There is zero reason to hope for a win and a playoff run. It doesn’t matter if we make it to the post season. We will LOSE because we will be outmatched in coaching

Any team that will make the post season will do so with a coach that will easily out coach Garrett

We stand zero chance at winning a super bowl with Garrett at the helm. Our only hope is that he gets replaced in time for the next coach to take advantage of this current roster.

We're not winning Thursday. They're going to lose at mediocre Chicago a week later, might beat the Rams, lose to the Eagles and then maybe beat Washington to finish 8-8

Garrett will celebrate a "non losing season" and then be promptly unemployed.

Rams just made two of the dumbest trades in recent history. They gave away the farm for Ramsey, a prima-donna team cancer that Tom Coughlin couldn't wait to be rid of, and the dude has done nothing for the Rams. The Rams are actually worse with him. They gave away Marcus Peters for virtually nothing, and the dude has gone off in Baltimore and is having one of the best runs of his career, making plays and picks left and right. made another one last night.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett was criticized for his decision to kick a field goal with just over six minutes remaining in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, but the lack of communication surrounding the call he made may have been the most troubling part about it.

The Cowboys, trailing 13-6 at the time, had 4th-and-7 from the New England 11 with 6:08 left in the game. Garrett opted for the field goal, despite the fact that Dallas was going to need a touchdown no matter what and had struggled to move the ball all game. When asked this week if he communicated with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore about what he was planning to do before the situation arose, Garrett had a concerning response.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea to constantly interject on a guy calling a play,” he said, per ESPN’s Todd Archer. “You want pick your spots in those situations.”

Garrett obviously made the decision to kick the field goal rather than go for it on 4th down, but it would reflect poorly on him if he did not communicate with Moore prior to that. Moore is the one calling the plays, so it would help to know if the head coach had ruled out taking the three points, which some coaches would have in that situation. That could have changed the play-calling on the series.

Dallas got deep into New England territory on that drive thanks to a 47-yard completion from Dak Prescott to Randall Cobb. It was a rare mistake by the best defense in football, and one that didn’t seem likely to happen again. Rather than rely on his team putting together another drive against a defense that was playing lights-out, many feel Garrett should have taken the shot on 4th-and-7 rather than cutting the Patriots’ lead to four. Either way, it sounds like the communication could have been better.

Jerry Jones was highly critical of his coaching staff following Sunday’s loss, and Garrett doesn’t seem to be helping his cause after the fact.

The Rams are in trouble. On 570 AM radio, I heard Colin Cowherd stated a damaging fact about them: No 1st round draft picks in the next three drafts.

They paid people too soon (Goff, Gurley) and no upswing in the near future. They are missing the postseason this year. They are approaching salary cap hell. And they have a new stadium. What else can happen?

The ST coach should have gotten the Lane Kiffin send off, then got sent on the Greyhound.

LA got spoiled with making the SB last yr & went all out this yr to make it again. The wundekind HC got figured out by the Dark Lord Darth Hoodie in the SB & now DCs have the blueprint on how to shut down that Rams O. They will regret overpaying Goff & Gurly as they are both playing subpar football. If I'm Skeletor, I franchise Dak next yr & see if he can lead the team past the div rd before coughing up all that $$ for a QB that can only win a couple of WC games. Even Mark Sanchez took the Jets to back to back AFCCGs.

Yesterday, I listened to Local sports radio talk show and Les Snead, Rams GM, was a guest. I could take only 5 minutes of him spouting BS. Totally clueless.
