I still feel very negative about this team. I like some of the younger players but i hate Jerry Jones and they way he has destroyed the team i used to be proud of. If i could flip a switch i would become a Texans fan, since ill be moving there in a few weeks, but it’s hard to let go of something that you really cared about for so long.

BTW, i think 8-8 describes the Cowboys and Jason Garrett perfectly. Mediocre as hell.

It's April. David is shaking off the winter doldrums and getting his homer legs under him again. Happens every year.

Bless his heart, this has got to be rough on him. Thanks for letting me know BB.

It is hard to see anything positive other than the potential in some of the young players. I have been a fan for over 40 years and I have never been as down on this organization as I am know. I don't like the way they have built this team and I don't like the direction they are going. I will never quit being a Cowboys fan, but I will admit that I watch the 49ers when I want to see the my type of football team. ( big, physical, hard-hitting)

You can find positive if you want. The top end of this roster isn't bad. If the team drafts a top end guard, Parnell is an upgrade at RT, the defense generates a few more turnovers and the team stays healthy, they could get in the playoffs. They almost made it last year with the roster decimated.

However, the team's depth is razor thin and you still have Garrett coordinating a middle of the pack offense. Plus this team has a history of shitting the bed whenever the games start to matter and a lot of the most talented players seem to be made of glass.

The same thing that makes him qualified - nothing.

You are really gambling with apple not falling far from the tree here.

I'm still hoping for an outside GM and a Jones just sitting in the owner's box watching the game.

I will go on record today, if we open and close the season at home will make the playoffs.

Personally no matter what is said I believe had we played these last two finale's at home we win them both and the division each season, even with all the problems. I feel that way about the team again right now. It feels like a 7-9 team before the draft but If we get these big motivational games at home to start and finish I think we can get the division.

I want to believe this year, but it's been too long for me.

I'm now a wait and see fan. I will rejoice when they win, but only after I see the final number on the scoreboard. I won't even bother guessing their record this year.
