Allow Santana Moss to get a couple of yards and then tackle him, apparently

It was a bang bang play. Alan Ball's choices were:

1. Hit him
2. Get ran over
3. Dive out of the way

That penalty call was weak.

Do the refs get penalized in any way for obvious bad calls and non calls?

They get graded, and that stuff is tracked.

I'm pretty sure whomever officiates the SB is the crew that grades out the best.

The League doesn't discuss these matters publicly unless it's egregious.

They owe Ware and Ball an apology. I'm not sure what else Alan Ball does there?? Dive out of the way?

According to one of those dipshit ESPN guys, Ball was supposed to let the guy catch the ball, then turn and run with it. The other announcers laughed about it and thought it was an awful call.

Thats what they claim, but I'll probably never believe it. Because alot of these super bowls end up being very poorly called.

On NFL Live, it was mentioned that Romo had told the officials that the Redskins were claling out the cadence, but of course nothing was done. Supposedly, the Cowboys will be contacting the league over the matter.

Send a message to these old assholes wearing zebra stipes. Roll up their knees. Send big TEs on crossing routes and crush those fuckers when they get in the way.

Have QBs start throwing bullets passes at their fricking domes once or twice a game.

Fuck them. If they want to try and decide outcomes of games, make them a real part of the games.

DWare's 2 sacks mark his 19th career multi-sack game. Ties Greg Ellis and Jim Jeffcoat for the most career multi-sack games in team history.

Greg Ellis?

Really? I had no idea.

For the record, I always thought Ellis could've had a Strahan like career had he not suffered that gruesum leg injury, and spent the lions share of his career being coached by Zimmer.

I loved seeing Ware finally getting Pissed off at Williams. Started throwing him around like a rag doll.

As for Greg, that broken leg back in 1999 ended what would probably have been an All-Pro season, and then it took him a few seasons to get un-fucked. I think that year he had 8 or 9 sacks already, and he had the long interception return for a score against Atlanta (also ended Jamal Anderson's career that game), and the 98 yard fumble return for a touchdown against Zona.

I've always thought the same thing. He was never the same player after breaking his leg.

DWare’s 2 sacks today was his 20th multi-sack game. Broke a tie with Jim Jeffcoat/Greg Ellis for the most multi-sack games in club history

At least one thing to get excited about this season.

He was pretty worn out by the 4th. Dont know if I have ever seen him that wore out before, pretty much guarantee when he gets tired there wont be a push from the Dline.

Had he stayed fresh all game he could have got 4 I bet. Offense should have kept him off the field with some more plays...

Updated.

Friggin' Jared Allen leads the NFL with 9.5. Vikings haven't had a bye week yet, but they get to play Chicago again... so....

Ware is such an amazing player.

Just had to say that, the things he does each week are pretty amazing.

To find out he was playing yesterday with severe back spasms makes me love him even more.

I didnt know this. He had an awesome game too until he hobbled off in the 4th qtr. After that he didnt seem to have the same explosion.

He had a couple spin moves where the OL was like "where did he go???"
