I have been looking for a shout at the devil copy for a while. It's fun when they just pop up.

I lucked into a copy if dr. Feelgood and aerosmith's pump for a couple bucks each.

My local half price books recently has had great records. It's been fun. I know I probably won't find anything but poco and Barry manilow for 6 months now....but the past three weeks have been awesome.

Yeah, I get most of my LPs in the same building where my business is. That Shout At The Devil I've been looking for awhile.

I LOL because I did see a lot of Barry Manilow and Poco today.

Yeah, where I get my LPs they have a lot of Bowie still in the original wrapper. Still good to find them like that though.

The album cover was cool, vinyl was in great shape and it had a cover. The only reasons I bought it. I listened to 1 side so far it was ok.

Today is record store day.

Everyone go spend some cash in your local record stores.

Tried didn't see anything I liked

I did too, but since I go record shopping at least twice a week I don't feel bad.

I was actually going to buy a couple of things at forever young records but because of the special stuff for today it was like a two hour wait in line...so I will go back Wednesday.

We don't have a local record store. It closed about twenty years ago when Wal-Mart came to town. I hate Wal-Mart and I miss the record store. Life sucks.

Picked up springsteen's magic and working on a dream.

Magic is fantastic but both sound like the cd's which is extremely disappointing. They don't sound like analog vinyl music. It's mixed like it was intended for iTunes.

This is is what my reissue of pearl Jam's ten and vs sound like.

So disappointing.

Nice.

Slippery is great, I have a copy that my cousin bought right when it came out and it's got some serious dirt in the groove. I have cleaned it twice but it hasn't helped. One of these days I will find another copy.

I love the first two Bon jovi albums. They are just raw garage rock of the 80's sunset strip ilk. 7800 is the album they are embarrassed by and I love it. That is probably the jovi album I listen to most.

Pyromania is just plain fantastic, great songs and the album sounds great. I don't have and never come across hysteria! Never see it used anywhere.

I paid 3 bucks for the Slippery when wet album and the only issue with it is the cover is faded a bit. The vinyl is in mint condition though, well worth it.

That's all I ask is if the vinyl is in good condition.

No kidding...when I get home I'll post the images of the albums I purchased.

Like to do that so you guys see the condition they're in.

Nice, thanks. That's a great price for all that.
Nic

It really is. The only catch is that there is so much hoopla over that box set! Some love it, some hate it, some have had warped records, some have had albums mislabeled, some hate the sound, some love the sound, some hate the packaging...etc...

I bought a copy of revolver because that and please please me are my favorite beatles albums......I have the mono box set on cd and I am waiting for the mono box set on vinyl to come out which is supposed to be this fall so I havent considered this set.....

until now! I am more interested in the bob dylan mono box set from columbia though and am probably going to pull the trigger on that soon..

The Dylan mono box is basically amazing.

Having never heard any of these classics in mono, it's a real experience.

I can't get enough of bringing it all back home and the copy in this set is just fantastic.
