I would love to get a JJ Watt player, him and Justin Smith are turning the 3-4 DE position on it's head. I think getting DL help is way more pressing than getting anyone on the other side of Ware. Oh what so Mario and Ware can both beat the QB to his drop point only to watch him step up and avoid them both?

IMO we could bring Mario here and have him play end instead of OLB.

^^^^this. Teams are building Olines from scratch and we brought in Bill Callahan. Kind of obviates the need to take a OG at 14. Like Midswat said, this draft is loaded with guard prospects. We can get a nice one in the 2nd/3rd round.

I'm not too impressed with Cox in that South Carolina game tape. He got three sacks, one where he was unblocked and two coverage sacks. If he's going to be drafted as a DE, he doesn't appear too interested in playing the run, he's getting upfield like Ware does on some of those plays and guys are running inside him. But I don't know how representative that is of him.

Personally, nothing I saw there would make him a first rounder in my book. Haven't watched the Wake Forest game though.

I agree with this 100%. Not impressed with Cox based on that South Carolina tape at all.

Getting pushed back a lot, lunging, standing around blocking nobody at times.

I'd still take DeCastro at 14, because he does possess the necessary traits to be a great player in the NFL, just pointing out how ridiculous it is to base a prospect's worthiness on one game film.

If Dallas landed Williams, I'd want to go to a 4-3 and I'd think long and hard about drafting Kuechly after telling Spencer to hit the bricks.

Agreed somewhat. I've cooled significantly on Kirkpatrick (drug arrest) and Upshaw (stiffness/not working out).

Hate Ingram, Coples.

Intrigued by Poe, but concerned about lack of impressive tape.

I'd punch a baby if we drafted Jenkins or Barron.

This is almost a one man draft for me in the first at 14.

I've been doing alot of thinking. And if we are unable to get DeCastro or maybe unable to trade down and get Glenn, and thus stay at #14... I'm liking the idea of grabbing Luke Kuechly. He'd be the BPA. And imagine him teamed up with Lee. That would be one badass ILB tandem. Now what would we do with Bruce Carter...? I'd give him a try at OLB. I don't think he could be any worse than Spencer, he's definitely more athletic and would be cheaper. Then I would go draft Zeitler in the 2nd.

DeCastro or Kuechly would be the only ones I'd take at #14.
